Hi Everyone!

I'd like to start by saying that while I am new to these forums, I love the passion and enthusiasm which so many people here have and bring to their art. I am really looking forward to learning from you all!

I infrequently dabble in larger-scale art like most of these posts have, but lately I have been working on a deck of cards inspired by stickmen called 'Pipmen', and thought I would share some of it here for any critiques to make it better. While it isn't great pieces like Zaix seems to pull off effortlessly, I hope you like them (especially seeing as this is the stickpage forum)

Please feel free to give me any comments to make them better!

Any suggestions for extra designs? I have most of them sorted, but a few are refusing to fall into place...

I don't know, the designs you have so far don't have any specific theme to them, so you can go all out with anything as long as it looks cool and involves pipmen.

While I love all of the designs, I feel like they don't really fit well together in the sense of a deck. There's no central theme, and it detracts from the overall nature as there's no unification.

Salt and Azure; I agree; the lack of a unified theme throughout does detract from the set, but I found that as I did my initial planning, I just couldn't come up with enough of my primary themes to fill out a whole deck. Having said that though, I have recently come up with an idea to piggyback off this one which will have a very solid theme running through it - something that will hopefully be really cool :) But if I've learned anything from creative hobbies, it is to finish one project before taking on another one.

I'm also struggling for ideas for 3 cards: the 7 Diamonds, 10 Diamonds and 8 Spades - these 3 I have gone through several different ideas but nothing seems right - any suggestions?

I agree - they would be better as a group, but when I laid out the plan for the designs I couldn't come up with enough in a single theme to justify pushing down that road. However, I do have a future project in mind which does just that :)

I realised I had not given out any Jokers for the Pipmen deck yet... They are some of my favorites - fun, playful and a bit mischevous!

There will be 4 Jokers (that's right - 4); different ones for different decks :) Here are the Black edition Jokers!

I'm on track for getting the whole deck done, just a few designs left to nail down :)
