I'll tell you about the time when I tried to pass Roman Law.
When I started attending classes for it, I could see many older students there too. They ask me what year am I, and I say freshman. They're like wowee, I wish I was a freshman still. They told me they're supposed to be in 3rd year but they can't be, because of Roman Law. Gulp.
I decide to tackle it on the very first exam term. I failed with the other 80% on the writen part already. So I'm like okay, I'll take this MORE seriously. Studied latin terms, repeated them until I knew them in my sleep, rewrote all chapters of the book with my own notes. Turns out I passed the written part next time around, but there was the oral part too.
Three teachers were doing the questioning. The hallways were full of student, sitting on the floor, mumbling the roman actio to themselves. I got there 3 hours earlier to revise my materials but it just made me a nervous wreck.
Here comes my turn. I enter the classroom, it's dead silent. Students sit on the back, waiting to write down the questions he asks me. I sit down and he starts questioning me, but I get dizzy because of my anemia, and the fact that I had slept for only 3 hours that night. I mess up the most basic things.
The scariest part? I have to take this exam again, and this time I have to pay for it.
