Hey all. I recently asked in the Chat Thread to see if you guys would be interested in seeing a film project I created with a friend of mine, and I got some great feedback. It's a six part series and they're being released once a week so I will be dropping by for updates regularly. The first episode dropped on Friday so here it is for you guys!

A little bio about the project if you're interested: My buddy and I started writing this project in June. I played mostly as the writer and him mostly the director in this instance. This was made with practically no budget, aside from a couple props. This was written, filmed, and edited by just us. The actors weren't paid. In fact, they were our friends. Some of which had little to no acting experience, yet still generously volunteered to help make this project happen. These aren't excuses of course, just some fun facts. :)

That was okay. The story was interesting but there were parts where I was unintrigued. The ending was a pretty good hook though. Moreover, the actors. They seemed timid to act and they didn't pull off the serious parts pretty well. The one with the blue hat seemed the most disinterested. Also the phrase "I mean" was repeated several times that it became tiring. However the detective was really promising. Maybe because he was more formal than the other characters. He was a bit more confident with his lines. Finally, who's the girl in the beginning? So, on the whole the episode was good but not great. Though I expect something better with the next episodes. That was just the introduction after all. Good luck on the series Sacred!

Sidenote: the "more confident with his lines" was not an intentional reference to the chat thread...

I agree with some of TD's parts regarding the fact that some parts were a little dull, kind of slowed the flow down. Specifically, the montage with them looking for him in the woods. However, I disagree with his comments of the actors. I thought they were very good for a couple of volunteers, although their facial expressions and acting in some areas could be improved. I also really liked the ending, kind of opens up lots of the doors for the next couple of episodes. I'm going to be watching this thread for the next episode.

Actually the part where they discussed a random memory of them with their missing friend was pretty good and the actors did a pretty good job at it. Some of the serious parts however seemed a little akward. Though they are not professional actors so I can't be too harsh. But my view still applies.

If you fixed the audio equipment used then this would be perfect. Very well made.
