I gave out candy. Every so often, I would almost give the kids a candy, then close the door and say "Hey, it's TRICK or treat, right? That's your trick!" And to the kids who didn't dress up, I gave them empty Nerds boxes.

One was a kitty, another was a nun, a guy dressed up as a movie character, and someone else I wasn't here to look for was a nurse. :L

I was excited to hand out candy this year because I moved into a town house in an area with a lot of families but all the parents took their kids to other neighborhoods and then it rained so we got like 6 visitors total. Kind of a let down, but at least I spent some quality time with my SO watching horror movies. Next year I'm going to go somewhere or have a party.
