Ok, soo, I was about to get to work on my flash then BAM! I got this error:

"The following panel layout is missing or cannot be read:"

Then it's followed by the location of a file of some sort, then...

"The application will not have a correct layout. Please load one from Windows > workspace"

Apparently... I have no idea what or where is that... So I need some help here...

It looks like you're using Adobe Flash Pro CSx, right?

Go to Window > Workspace, and choose another workspace that available there or you can create your own workspace by choosing New Workspace..

CS6 actually. When I was going to try your suggestion the message changed, and it seems that this problem only affects one project of mine. When I tried to open it up when I'm already using Flash it says:

"An error occured opening file...(file name)"

Not very helpful at all; the message. But I have come to suspect that the file is corrupted

dude, the same exact thing happened to me! did you ever figure out how to fix it?

1.Change the damaged file extension from .fla to .rar.
2.Open the damaged file using your WinRAR.
3.Winrar will display an error that you are about to open a damaged file, ignore this warning.
4.Select Tools>Repair Archive. This will make sure that the archive and FLA is repaired.
5.Change the file extension back to .fla
