Batten down the hatches, cap'n, there's a shit storm comin.

I'd say rhg is a better experience right now just because it has more infrastructure and a larger pool of animators to compete with. I'm interested to see where dojo duels goes over time, though.

Dojo Duels is still relatively new. Technically there is still only one animated duel even completed. I think we should give it a little time before doing stuff like this. RHG has a pretty long history of many different animators who have influenced a lot of the community. Also in general the questions seems rather broad; like is it asking which is the better concept or what?

i agree with mon, but i feel like the dojo duels was more planned out and really organized compared to rhg's. its also not limited to just animators, even comic artists can join the fun, it still has its quirks but i think the dojo staff is taking a step forward in the right direction with this.

They're basically the same thing lol what's the point of this? the only reason you'd pick one over the other is because you are from stickpage or from hyun's dojo

Well that's something we (the users of stickpage) should start to have, I don't think it's something we should blame on the RHG system.

But is true. We should get some fucking standards

No, Hyun's dojo's community is a lot more active - animation wise - than Stick page, and the animators there are generally of a higher quality. There is also a lot more structure to their new rhg system.

There first battle there just got hundreds of votes and a whole lot of cnc. You stand to gain a lot more exposure and advice by hosting your anims there.

On top of that, you receive rewards for battling.

And now they're implementing events - quests - just to shake things up.

Really the only thing i like more about stickpage forum is that it gives you more creative control with you character, and it's easier to navigate around here because the forum here is so simple. Stickpage is not just stagnant, but on the decline.

I agree with Mon, its been weeks since the birth of this new system called Duelist, so you'd pretty much say this was too soon.

Considering so far Dojo duels appears to have a massive variety in their characters, some easily enforcable, yet reasonable standards, as well as a larger amount of active animators, I'd probably have to give it to Dojo Duels. Currently the general structure of Dojo duels is also better, but I'd chock that up to it being made at a later date than RHG. They were able to analyze some of the pitfalls of RHG and try different things.

Looking forward to seeing how this plays out and seeing how the new RHG system would work out in comparison.
