His philosophy doesn't really consolidate with me. I was expecting him to give a bit more clarity in wether he wants you to commit to your talents or work your ass off but then the next second he's saying don't do something you hate. What if something I hate is the only form of income generation/ "hustling" I have? Then he's giving traditional perks of success as a motivational standard "bling bling" fuck off your corny.

Work your ass off towards the talents that you enjoy having. And then make that your income generation model. I'm not sure where the misunderstanding here is?
