Decided to log back in on my old haunt. Who is still around? I guess it's been 10 years. Wow.

Oh, dang I almost totally forgot about you. It's nice to see you again.
Stickpage is neat in that nothing really ever changes except for the people. It's still a hangout spot for people 14-27 years old and it's still a nice place to be. Maybe that's why people like me and Exilement and Scarecrow stick around for so long. Speaking of that, you'll see a couple of familiar faces still here. There's Mantha (she's usually gone but is sticking around for now), Sacred, Jutsu, Arch Angel, Captain Cook are all off the top of my head. I bet I'm still forgetting some.

Also most oldies who come back to say hi post in the Chat Thread instead of making their own thing. Unless we're actually discussing something here :o

I remember Mantha well. She was awesome. Arch Angel I remember. Jutsu and Sacred ring some tiny bells.

And **** da police.

It was darker then. I mean literally darker, Stickpage was grey.

Wild 2-Ds and Deathwishes and Zulus roamed the fields.

I was a kid and had a head the size of Montana. I was very dramatic. Everything was super serious. If someone was wrong, they were an IDIOT.

Around '07 I used to make threads about religion every other day and constantly attacked people. I had recently become an atheist and it was my new toy, so I just had to show it off.

Also, it was REALLY active. If you posted a thread, you'd get a response in seconds, no matter which section you were in.

How has life been for you anyways? All I remember is that you were basically Exilement except with a sense of humor :p I still remember the time you convinced everyone someone broke into your house and you were hiding in your room as it happened.
What did you end up doing with life, if anything? What made you leave? What made you remember this place?

Good times. Good times.

Well, I work for a rather large company that rhymes with Bell, doing high complexity converged solutions support (Meaning I fix blade servers for big companies). I generally just left around 2010 because I started to frequent the IMDB message boards for various movies in development, then eventually migrated to Reddit in 2013.

I came to remember this place because I decided to search for my old Myspace profile, then I remembered my myspace account name and googled it to find my profile, but found one of my old alternate accounts here instead.

So I popped in and saw "Holy crap, it's been 10 years since I joined!"

If Exilement was here, he'd tell you about how the Admin actually cares now and everything is a little better if not slower.

Also 2-D has refused to come back. He was here until the new Management came and was banned for 3 Months for what was supposedly a refusal to stop abusing the infraction system. Then he just resolved to never come back. Deathwish and Zulu have never been back but I hear their names at times.

These days if someone called people Idiots, they'd get banned. Then shunned.

And yeah, I like lurking the old Chat Thread sometimes and imagine what this place is like in its prime.

Wow. What idiots the mods are then. ESPECIALLY Exilement. loljkdontbanmebutreallyidontcarebecauseidontusethissiteanymoreanyway.

Lol. It's strange being part of the "Old Guard". I remember when I was a new user here. This is really where I cut my teeth on the internet. I was 13 when I joined, and now i'm 23. Incredible.

Haha, people were still called "IDIOTS" or worse until 2011 or so. It wasn't just the GUI that was dark, the moral was pretty dark. I was going to ask if this was Ashlander's other account but Hewitt already helped with that.
Welcome back btw.

What. That has literally never happened ever... idiot :o

I still wouldn't really call 2005-2008 Stickpage's "prime." Things were actually pretty bad if you weren't on the very extreme top of the social ladder back then

I find all the oldbies cool. Part of me thinks I came here in the wrong century. I should've been here back then instead of lounging at GameFAQS. But I guess I would've been fried from my inability to animate from the getgo.

Btw Ash: If you find that you cannot delete posts, it's because of me. When I was a Mod. You're welcome.

I was referring to the Chat Thread's "Prime" and how streamy it was...idiot.
