I ask this because there are too many unoriginal stories that lead to revenge for their dead parents, and I think there should be a rule that there shouldn't be anymore stories that have the "parents died, learns new power, works for revenge" theme so there will be more original stories, stories that will be interesting.

why would you give a shit what people put in their RHG's stories? It virtually never matters anyway when you make an animation. And RHG's supposed to allow people free reign over their characters so putting restrictions like this would take that away.

Let's make a petition to have stone officially say that the RHG is actually run by a Consortium that actually kills their gladiator's parents, if they do not have an even more tragic backstory by default. This will make anyone who joins to force Dead Parents unto their characters, not because it's required, because it's cool. This petition will affect the ff RHGs:
- Yoyo
- Oxob
- Jombo
- Fox N Q
- Steel
- Mr Pix
- Murph
- Chuck
- Umbrella
- Everyone who isn't FLLFFL and Nhazul
And this will not affect the ff RHGs:
- FLLFFL
- Nhazul
So basically, when someone in the future makes an RHG that says their parents died, they will basically be declaring that they now have the same emotional depth as FLLFFL and Nhazul. Look at this new and improved version of RHG:
Old Yoyo - Invents quantum thingie within his yoyo; decides to test it by applying in the RHG.
New Yoyo - Raised by quantum yoyo scientists, Yoyo (note the Capitalization) grew up doing nothing but eat, sleep, and touch quantum yoyos (often times at the most inappropriate of parts). Stone however, with his love for irony and evil, plotted with the RHG Consortium to steal this quantum yoyo technology in order to power their new Dead Parents Cryo Unit. So they had Yoyo's parents killed. Now Yoyo is joining the RHG because of revenge. Oh and to test out his yoyo technology his parents made for him too.
Let's put it to the test, shall we? Use the new backstory for Yoyo, then watch this:
Holy shit, I'm loving Yoyo already.
Now whenever I re-watch Yoyo vs FLLFFL, I can feel the intensity of what's at stake. Instead of Yoyo just having boring ole fun playing around with Terk's bitch and ending it with a draw, we now have the subtext of a broken and hollow maniacal child who is fuelled by his dead scientist parents and has become unhinged to the point that he has decided to treat everything as a fun play fantasy. And when that play fantasy ends, he is ultimately depressed. Which is why there hasn't been any Yoyo vs animation that's ever come after this.
Suddenly that scene in the beginning and end makes sense. The whole scene where all of FLLFFL's victims are dying is comedically played for laughs in the original incarnation, but thanks to our new backstory they've transcended into the symbolism behind the Consortium's sins. How the magnitude of Dead Parents is slowly taking over the Old Guard The entire battle becomes a stage between the old and the new backstory. Dead Parents vs Whatever The Fuck FLLFFL has Been Through, with Yoyo being a metaphor for the insanity context behind the RHG's formation and FLLFFL representing how his backstory is boring and stale and offers nothing to the table. That ending where FLLFFL leaves? That now represents the sorrow of having no Dead Parents. Who knows? Maybe he's off to kill his OWN parents. Because Dead Parents are awesome.

i didnt expect this to be so one sided. it's just i felt the parents killed and going for revenge theme was unoriginal and was used to often. and part of me felt that they used that story because they were too lazy to think of something else.
