"There he sat at the booth with his companions Charlene and Sandra. He's nervous, but on the surface he looks calm and ready. He calls out the waitress. His order: mom's spaghetti..."

What is This?
This a collaborative-interactive-fiction-project or a CIFP for short, but think of it as the most valuable wRHG resource you'll ever get. Here wRHG's personalities are fleshed out, you can practice writing skill, and more at no cost to you!

Who are you?
You are Kyle Lane! An intrepid young reporter with some experience under his belt whose been given the task of interviewing the wRHG contenders.

How to...
In Kyle Vs. The World, I will interview various wRHG characters.
Use: Consider this an additional resource for writers who want to understand more about another's character. This can also help you flesh out your own character, or see how others perceive your character without having to wait for a battle and wager points to do so.
CNC: Since this thread allows people to practice with wRHG's, CNC is welcome but you can only CNC one interview at a time. More appreciated is when author's clarify confusion on their own wRHG as this is the primary purpose.
Request: Although, I plan to do all active characters, you can move you character to the top of the queue by request. Do so by providing your character's name and a link to their page.
Submit: I most definitely cannot do this on my own. Nor should I as its just as much writing practice as much as it a wRHG resource. In fact, if you have a battle coming up, you could preemptively test out your opponent and get feedback on it before you even battle! If you are submitting, follow these rules please.

Brain hurts a little over this premise. Could you give an example of how it'd work?

If I play as Kyle, but it's you who's interviewing, and if I gotta do someone else's character then that means it'll be a threeway thing, but who has what roles, how will it be done, what?

In a standard wRHG battle, you write a story of your own wRHG and the combatant's wRHG fighting. You write the other person's wRHG as you understand it. This is what is done here except instead of using your own wRHG, you use Kyle, that way the only interpretations of an wRHG here are of how other people view them.

It's open in perspective, so you can actually write it from the interviewee's perspective rather than the interviewer's (Kyle) perspective or 3rd person as well.

Example:
In utter shock, I realized as soon as I starred at the notes I had been taking for half an hour. This gladiator was boring! He had been talking nonstop, only pausing to take bites out of his grilled cheese sandwich. The only things on my paper were a myriad of cubes and failed pyramids.

So how would writing another's character as I understand them, make me understand them better? Wouldn't I need input from their creator?

Here's the order of things as I thought em up in my head:
1. I (or someone else) write(s) someone else's wHRG.
1.b The creator can clarify for adjustments
2. The creator can see how their character is perceived by others and adjust accordingly
3. Someone else who is fighting that wRHG can now look at the character page, previous wRHG battles, and this page to get better context of their opponent.
4. In the case of writing, helping you understand another's character better, yes it does rely on their input. It also serves as a practice, assuming you understand your own character the most, part of the challenge comes from writing other people's characters, which you can do here.

So these are spars where you use a predetermined character, so that the writer of the other character can understand, clarify and improve theirs?

Well, I get it. This could be useful for me as my character depends on the details of other characters, but I usually can just take what I need from their past battles, demo, backstory and talking with the writer themself.

But since this guy's an interviewer, if done right then you could bypass all that just for one story. Concise.

Yup. His personality can fit whoever's writing him though. I'll probably finish my CNC for Tsar and Devi before this tho.

I would actually like one for Handyman. Though he doesn't actually have a human personality, he does have a personality. People seem to think he's some evil creature that stops at nothing after he's found a victim but it's not like that.

He's like an intelligent animal looking for companionship. Then turns feral when hungry.

He turns feral when there's no mind left in his head. Otherwise he's like an easily scared wolf pup. Also he has no clue about how his feeding functions, just slap tongue on neck, do a thing and then putting the sleepy person somewhere comfy.

Cool Idea, I like it. ^^

But what about characters who wouldn't tell certain stuff (like for example their goal being world conquest) to the media or aren't even in the regular RHG-system according to their backstory? (Lets just take an assasin or someone with a secret identity.)
How would they act in these interviews?

Basicly, are the interviews meant for the fictional wRHG world (so it's citizens could read it, which would make the fighters keep secrets) or just for us writers (so the characters could tell everything)?

Although its for the writers, the intention is for the character to remain in character. So if there is something a wRHG would normally not talk about, then they wouldn't talk about it, and Kyle would either get it off-the-record or change the subject. Also he doesn't have to meet the wRHG in public at the diner, he could always Skype or call them at the Diner if they don't like going out.
