So recently I've been thinking about the way people type. I'm sure that the standard asdf + jkl; home row is most effective, but seeing as I game on PC a lot, my typing style is different. I, personally, use a WASD + SHIFT + SPACE with my left hand, and my other hand presses everything I can't reach with the left. I'm kind of curious to see what other ways people type, if there are any others.

My typing is mostly erratic but I usually have my hands onto the keyboard and press stuff accordingly and conveniently. The only thing that's mostly consistent is that I press the space bar with my thumb.

I don't have a home row, i just rest my fingers in the area that i was last typing in with that hand. I dont use the system where we are supposed to place our hands on the "J K L ;" and "F D S A" I move my hands all around the keyboard, using my fingers for pretty much everything. Like I'll type one word with two fingers then go to the other hand and type the rest, using the previous one for the spacebar and vice-versa.

I use asdf jkl; but usually just shift my finger one for letters like q or p. I type pretty formally for the most part, aside from using my 3rd finger for q and p tho (instead of my pinky). Took so many shitty typing things when I was younger.

How curious. I have the same as you, typing everything on the zone from Q to T to V to Z (trace a square shape with those letters on your KB) and everything else with my right middle finger xD

I only use two fingers for typing. One finger from each hand.

I do an extremely fast search and destroy type.

I mostly use the asdf+jkl; formula, but I sometimes make the shaka sign with my right or left hands and use the search and destroy method. XD

I am the most formal typer you'll ever meet. :/
