WAHLUIGI NUMBAH WAHN
(This character is dead.)
Name: Draou
Age: (Actual age unknown, body of a 23 year old, doesn't appear to be aging)
Appearance: Draou is Caucasian, 5'7", Ectomorph (For those that didn't pay attention in Health class... it means he has a thin, lean build for his height), has dark hazel eye color, clean shaven, unkempt dark brown hair (short), wears a black synthetic (waterproof cloth) high collar jacket with no hood, wears a black synthectic long sleeved T-Shirt under jacket, dark green cargo pants, black running shoes with metal reinforcement on the bottom(s), wears a black baseball cap drooped over face to hide his facial appearance as much as possible, has metal reinforced glasses (doesn't actually need them, but wears them to make his face less recognizable.), and wears dark green synthetic gloves (same material as jacket) at all times. Draou also has scars running up from either side of his chin, stopping near his forehead (This tends to make him look slightly more serious than he actually is.)
Draou is from the void, a place between worlds/dimensions that has no technical limits. While he is from the place, his body and mind are a fragment of the original Draou, an inventor from the past who was able to build a dimensional traveling machine (that ran on sugar) to reach the void, the main focus on his study throughout his life. Unfortunately, once the machine was triggered, the original Draou's physical and mental forms were fragmented across multiple worlds. Hundreds of years later, these fragments have began to combine again, dropping into different worlds as near perfect physical copies of their original selves, with various personalities and little to no memories of their original past life. Draou (now I'm talking about this one, not the original) is a fragment of the original's genius and physical skill. When he first dropped into this world, he almost immediately started working in the shadows as a hired researcher for various corporate industries, eventually working for Lyzer Resources under the name Daniel Garns. During this time, he has tried to remember more about his past... while also trying to get accustomed to the new world he is now living in. One day, during his own private studies at his small apartment, Draou discovered he had the ability to manipulate the space between worlds and coax it into reality. Soon, Draou had practiced this ability and kept it as a close secret... up until the day he decided to act as a vigilante and take matters into his own hands. This has lead Draou to leave Lyzer Resources in order to better focus on his current goal. However, he still maintains good relations with them as time goes by. Draou is motivated to stop the mystery man because of how he believes he is an unjust oppressor not fit to rule over the world Draou lives in. However, Draou realizes he can't do this alone, so he has sought after help from other talented individuals.
Personality: Draou tends to be silent in serious situations, only contributing what he feels is necessary in a conversation if he is not very interested in it. While not a shy individual, Draou does not prefer the company of others, simply because he does not trust them. While Draou can seem to be a recluse, he is very kind and energetic when in uncommon, comfortable situations and can handle himself socially quite well. However, a minor flaw in his personality is that when he is interested in something, he will tend to talk way too much about it. This can create awkward situations in which Draou is ignored by others to an extent. Above all, Draou is focused on helping others above helping himself. This does not mean he is unwilling to inflict pain or even death on others if it is for the greater good, which is his highest cause. Whatever he believes is necessary for this goal, he will carry out, regardless of what type of action he may be committing. This includes the willingness to suffer as much pain as needed in order to preserve his ideals. Draou is also very humble and does not wish to take glory in what he does for petty reasons that are not important to his goal. Draou is also alright with being put into supportive roles in a group (what he is best at), as he only cares about the results of his actions.
Deep down, however, Draou is actually a very troubled person. Constantly receiving flashbacks from other fragments of himself across multiple worlds, regular meditation is the only way Draou has found to avoid losing control and going insane. The stress from trying to eliminate his conflicting emotions at times can sometimes lead him to make irrational decisions or hesitate to do something important.
Powers:
- Has very fast perception and awareness of his surroundings, resulting in very fast reaction time (fast enough to notice bullets in-flight, but not fast enough to physically dodge them with just his normal body.)
- Trained extensively in stick fighting, specifically with a quarterstaff/bo-staff.
- Highly intelligent, splendid tactician and scientist.
- Excellent acrobat (not legendary skill or anything, but still good.)
- Draou has knowledge burned into his brain (non-literal) on how to use and recreate several complex devices of "his own" creation.
- Weakness: Limited stamina.
- Weakness: Lack of regular meditation leads Draou to become physically sloppy in his actions and unable to use any advanced parts of his abilities
- Weakness: Draou tends to speak out what he is planning to do when he feels he has the situation under complete control. While not pure overconfidence, it is more of a bad habit he has developed overtime.
- By mentally creating ruptures in reality, Draou can teleport himself or other objects/people to different areas, briefly phase objects/people out of existence (can't do this for more than 8 seconds without suffering mental trauma, with mental trauma, he can go for a max of about 20 seconds, beyond that, his mind goes into a state of shock and he falls unconscious, possibly suffering brain damage.) Draou may only use this phase ability a max of 30 seconds per day unless he meditates for at least 1 hour (meditating up to 1 hour can refill small bits of his energy). Draou also has to concentrate intensely while phasing an object/person for more than 1.5 seconds. The larger the object/person, the harder it is for him to maintain concentration (any object/person that is X3 larger or more than Draou can only be phased for a max of 1 second and immediately requires extreme concentration, objects/people X5 larger or more cannot be phased or teleported without mental trauma, objects/people beyond X7 are impossible to phase/teleport successfully without resulting in death.)
- If Draou meditates for at least 1 hour, he can immediately transport himself and at most 2 others into the void for one day, but anyone else transported also has to meditate for the same amount of time next to Draou during his own meditation. This ability can be used to travel long distances, as he can open the exit portal somewhere else. However, doing this without clear sight of the area is dangerous, and can result in severe injury for Draou and those transported if Draou loses focus at all during transport. Draou also has to do this within 1 minute of breaking meditation, otherwise transportation into the void will result in failure.
- Draou can also use his ability to scout out areas, controlling the small, invisible holes in reality with his mind. Draou can look through these reality holes as if they were his eyes mentally (during usage of this ability, Draou is nearly defenseless against outside attacks, unable to do anything but maintain a numbed sense of smell/touch/hearing and make basic, slow movements with his body. Reverting back to his normal viewpoint takes exactly 2 seconds. It is possible to channel this viewpoint through a screen connected to the user's mind instead of actually taxing the user's energy and mental/physical state. This would require a powerful catalyst to convert the information into displayable content, as well as constant connection to the user through the void.
Note: Breaking Draou's concentration will interrupt most of his abilities and disorient him for a time depending on his level of concentration at the time of interruption (Less disorientation the more concentration he has.) However, the better Draou's concentration, the harder it is to break.
Note: Any ruptures in reality larger than the size of a quarter are visible to others besides Draou, and appear as pure white 2-D blotches of nothingness with no mass or thickness.
Note: Draou is able to summon these ruptures in reality instantly with his mind. However, larger ruptures require more intense concentration.
Note: Draou can move these ruptures in reality with his mind. The larger the rupture, the harder it is for Draou to move it.
Note: Draou has an extremely noticeable presence other void users can easily notice unless he expends a large amount of his mental energy hiding himself.
Note: Draou can use his ability to teleport or phase off parts of objects or people to deal damage, but this uses much more mental energy and can only be done at close range.
Note: Looking through a rupture at the same time as moving it will cause the rupture to move much slower than normal.
Weapons/Equipment:
- Titanium Alloy Quarterstaff/Walking Stick
- Small metal necklace with emblem of a cookie on it (helps Draou maintain more focus and connection to the void when worn due to it actually being a prototype device made to help channel void through mental energy by helping the bearer concentrate in this area) (damaged)
- (Clothes listed in appearance.)
