The statue didn't reply, Adam noticed.
So he's mute, or he's just being a jerk, he thought...
He looked skeptically at the towering figure as he approached the forest,
"If you think I mean you harm, you're dead wrong!" Adam called after it...

Venor-How many times have i heard this before...Im so going to regret this...

Still, without turning, he suddenly stopped, and as he finished his last step, he hasn't moved any part of his body, even for an inch, only his cloak was waving, moved by the weak touch of wind.

Venor-What do You want then? -His voice was cold, echoing, and quite loud, even though it sounded like someone was saying those words from really far away.

Xiu's eyes flashed red as she noticed the approaching figure. A strange looking man covered entirely in straw approached her. Suddenly, a sphere of blue fire appeared next to her. Out of it jumped a small black cat.

Creepy...

"I think it's kind of cute Ling."

The cat grinned bearing its tiny fangs.

You think all monsters are cute.

He's not a monster...can't you feel it? He feels exactly like you do...

A spirit? But...he has a body?

There's only one way to find out.

Hey! Don't be reckless!

The cat scurried behind her, jumping on to her shoulder as Xiu approached the Scarecrow. He was a lot more imposing up close, but Xiu tensed up and held her ground.

"Hello...may I...help...you?" she nervously stammered.

Vents looked at the girl for a second. Rubbing his thumb agianst his blade hidden in his jacket pocket.

Treasure hunt? Could she be looking for…

Vents remembered his incident at the bar and how evil the drunk man looked. He wondered if more people like that were walking around that city.

I'll just make sure she gets where she's going safely then I'll get going.

Vents started walking towards the town, without even looking back he shouted to the girl.

Vents: You coming or is all this murder talk starting to get to your head?

I landed safely on the ground, only to find what it appears to be a man in a battle ready position with some kind of pocket knife.

"Calm down, I'm not here to kill, just only to Search and get the heck out of here"

I said as I got back up trying to gather my Analysis on where I am.

"But if your planning on attacking me, I suggest you test your strength on those other people first" I said as I pointed to the male and Female having a chat.

Adam took a step back at the statue's words. "Holy crap, it can talk!" He said, sticking his tongue out of the corner of his mouth and smirking. "I'm guessing you're some kind of cursed being-" He guessed, raising an eyebrow, "-And you hope that the artifact can cure you..." Adam finished, his scars glowing maliciously...

"Are you kidding? It'll take more than some dead body to scare me!" She caught up to the man once again. As she walked next to him, she gave him a once over, not being very discrete about it. He wasn't too bad looking. "Hey, maybe when we get to town you can buy me a drink." Grace smirked.

Gregory looked at the man, then spoke.
"Can you please cut the ropes for me with your unusually very long dagger? Thanks. Here, have a milk bottle for your troubles."

Venor-That's quite an accurate guess to have after one short glance at someone's...face...

He slowly turned, and got a closer look at the Warrior. Now, the bruises on his face were glowing bright, as if they were burning, pretty sure it wasn't like that, the first time he saw him.

Venor-Maybe I am...Maybe I am not...so what?

Again, after he finished his last move, he stood dead-like still, in the shadow of his hood, only his red eye was clearly to be seen . One thought was bothering him, how does he know about the artifact, and how did he knew, that Venor was after it. Also, how many other people, might share the same goal as he?

The sudden flirting caught Vents off gaurd and even managed to make him smile. He was about to respond before he looked off into the distance. Vents saw what to be a young boy and a man in a fighting stance holding a switchblade.

Is that man trying to mug him?

The thought of this enraged Vents and he immediately started sprinting towards the two temporarily forgetting about the young girl. Vents looked at the man his head low and his voice menacing almost a growl.

Vents: The hell do you think your doing?

Adam looked over the statue, "If you're after the Artifact, I want to tag along with you..." He said mischievously, his right eye starting glow bright red underneath his hood. He bowed down to the statue, "The name's Adam Samael. It'd be nice to know yours..." He said...

"Hey! Where you going!?!" Grace called out to her companion as he took off in the wrong direction. She rolled her eyes and ran after him. This treasure was going to be hard to get alone, she needed a partner. For now anyways.

Vents heard the girl run up, behind him but he never took his eye off the man with the blade.

I can't kill anyone there's to many people around.

Vents looked at the boy, who was oddly equipped with very weird gear.

Vents: You ok kid?

I then see a man, coming in at intense speed,
"The hell do you think your doing?" He said to the male with the Pocket knife in a Growling tone.

I stand back knowing some one is not gonna survive this Fight.

The Male (Vents) then asked "you Ok kid?"

"Yeah I'm alright, but is that female the same? You seemed to have left her there"

He slightly nodded his head, but the gesture was most likely invisible, because of the hood.

Venor-Name's Venor... And yes, I'm after the Artifact...

His head turned slightly to the left, as he asked the next question.

Venor-Why do You want to go with me? You look like you're strong enough to handle yourself...

Venor-Where's the catch?
