The mask protected Leo from the poison, but the poison's smell seeped through. It was wretched, the enclosed space kept it in and let the smell fester. Leo thought the smell was intensifying. Sure enough, as he looked around, he saw two of the lizards approaching, at high speed for over-sized, poisonous Lizards.

Crap at a time like this? Looks like i had to speed things up. Leo Used his Hover boots to fly straight into the mine he was suppose to go. While he was flying, he used his wrench to leave a mark on the walls in hopes of creating Smoke, that way he can distract the Over-sized Creatures. I hope this works.

Vents turned around, ignoring the silent man. He looked at Xiu and her hay filled friend.

Vents: We should all go somewhere else. It's getting a little stuffy here.

Adam gave Venor a suspicious look. "You're hiding something from us Venor. I can see when people have problems. Trust me, I know I have problems."
He turned away, leaving the giant to deal with his problems. "I'm heading out for the mountain. I'll meet with you guys there. If you don't come, I'll assume I can go AWOL..."

Grace noticed no one reacted to her saying that she would kill people in the group. She shrugged, turning away from the silent man. She really didn't want to kill more people than she needed, but it seemed that it was unavoidable. Everyone going after the Artifact would eventually meet up, and it would be an all out massacre. Three people would be left standing, and Grace was determined to be one of them.

Adam walked out a few miles from the village. Activating the Surge of the Demon, he rushed across the plain with his enhanced speed, reaching the mountain in a few minutes. Starting to climb, he caught sight of a small tower on the side of the mountain. He smirked, "Aha!" He exclaimed, and ran up towards the tower. He stopped about a hundred feet from the tower, and caught sight of a few people who seemed to be in an intense argument, seeming to be on the edge of a fight...

Adam crouched low and pulled his hood over farther over his face. Listening to them exchange their threats, Adam started to skirt around the edge of the clearing in front of the tower, hoping to avoid being spotted.

Who are these guys? Are they after the Artifact too? he thought...

Grace stopped, hearing the sound of footsteps and shuffling. She listened intently. "There's someone here." She turned to the source of the noise and saw a hooded man. She quickly drew her gun, taking the safety off. "Looks like I'm going to have to kill people sooner than I thought."

Against her better judgement, Xiu spoke up.

"I've never heard of a silly artifact...The Huijun Clan has a plethora of artifacts lying around...I'm sure we could go there after I finish my mission," she coldly lied.
Pointing at the far off mountain in the distance, she continued, "All I need is a couple of medical herbs...one of my younger brothers Rao is sick you see...we can get one of them at the mountain..."
"We have more than enough to share back home."
Smiling she began to wonder when she became so comfortable lying to others.
Maybe if we stick together...nobody will have to die

Vents listened to Xiu, after years of being an assassin he knew a lie when he heard one, but he left it alone. More engaged in Grace's words.

Vents: Hmm? What do you see.

Edac was relived when they turned there attention to someone else, hewanted a fight, but saw their strength in numbers, so he carefully backed away and decided to talk to them later and just wait his turn

Vents looked around, confused at first. Then he saw the black figure.

Vents: Jeez why does everyone feel the need to appear in this one spot.

He started making his way towards the hooded man.

Vents: Well hello, what do you want? Is there a reason ypur here?

This is getting worse by the second.

"I'm just looking for herbs you see so...I don't want to stay...and cause trouble...you see my brother needs them," she pleaded honestly. Although, she had left out the crucial details, lying before didn't sit well with her. She never lied back at home, she could never stomach it. Now though, she was bothered that it didn't bother her.

"There are...some dangerous creatures further up...I'm afraid, but I'll be fine with just Para. Thanks for the company," she said, bowing her head solemnly. She waited to see what Para and the others would do.

Venor-Well then...

He was surprised by Adam's sudden "departure", but at the same time he felt some kind of a relief.

He gave Michelle a quick look, before he turned, and headed to the mountains, he wasn't going to wait for her apparently.

((I just realized i took the same route with my character development, as in one of my last RPs...i feel kind of lame about it...Y'know what, just forget about this "???" thing...))

*Para simply nodded and moved to Xiu's side, without saying a word.

well, if that's how she wants to do this...

Vents looked back after hear Xiu say her farewell. He knew sooner or later they'd have to split ways, but this was so unofficial.

Vents: No no no no no, I'm afraid I can't let you leave yet. I mean we haven't even had a decent conversation. Just don't move while I handle the creeper.

He turned back to the bushes.

Vents: I'm getting impatient!
