The man looked at the strange inscriptions in curiousity. Wondering what the boy was planning he followed Tyra's orders, placing his suitcase in the smaller circle and standing in the bigger one. "Now what Master Thron? Do I just stand here?"

"Sitting is fine, but I need you to stay in this circle for about half an hour..."
Sitting on the oversize sofa expectantly, Tyra unintentionally yawned, quickly covering up the rude action.
"My apologies Herr Ra'Zir, this magic is quite strong but the time it takes to set up is annoying...While we wait, I know next to nothing about you. Tell me please."

Jett liked the tone in the man's voice, and also liked the fire in his eyes. Calling him barely better than the burnt wood of a hearth caused him to chuckle--He once again patted Erik on the shoulder, "Ah, so you do have jokes! Good, I was starting to think you were Mr. Serious Guy all the time."
Jett copied his salute, although not nearly as strong as Erik's had been. His eyes darted back and forth to the sounds of shattering glasses and urns, "Well...Those weren't mine anyway," He shrugged with a smirk, walking down the halls of the stronghold. The walls were painted a bright white, and most of the furniture looked relatively new, however used often by Jett. The upstairs lights were turned off, "By the way," His face grew serious for a moment, the first time since Erik had met him, "Upstairs are off limits unless I permit you."
Only a moment later Jett's palpable comical emotions returned, and he put a hand to his chin, lost in thought at Erik's question. He then lifted a finger up, "I have an idea--A light bulb, if you will," He explained, "Why don't we go scout our enemies...get a bit of a feel for them first!" He opened the front door, stepping outside first and expecting Erik to follow suit. He snickered inaudibly.

Isabelle glared at Jack Frost, not impressed in the slightest with him. The new master walked over to a stack of dusty books and ran her fingers across them, observing the amount of dust that they had managed to collect. "No, servant, you will not die. You will win the grail for both of us so that our wishes may be granted." Isabelle was lost in a trance as she stared mindlessly at the book in her hands. She had already spent the entire day plotting their first moves and going over different scenarios with different servants battling against other servants. Before Jack could speak once more to his master, Isabelle added, "Your first assignment is to dust off these books and organize them neatly on the shelves behind you. I am going to go up stairs and put on something more... suitable, for what we are about to do." Smiling politely at her servant, Isabelle hurried upstairs to grab a few things. She only really needed her coat and staff, considering it was about to get rather chilly.

The man sat down and stroked his beard. "My story isn't very impessive. Well where to begin... I was an executioner back during the 1700's. The tool of my trade is inside that attachè case. I've lived a long time... I just want it to end and that's why I'm participating in the Holy Grail Wars, for an ending." He sighed. "Now young master Thron, what is this ritual supposed to accomplish?"

Some general information for questions I've been asked a lot:
-Servants all know enough, but barely enough to blend in with the modern world
-When meeting in person, feel free to exhange phone numbers to give you a means to communicate from afar
-Masters can sense power, and will be able to recognize a Mage or Servant's presence, but not where they are.
-Servants can magically change their clothing from battle to casual wear
-Everyone knows about the Grail Manor and that it's a neutral zone

Jack, slightly baffled at her not being impressed, nodded. "Yes, M'lady." How was she not impressed? He was Jack God damn Frost, everyone was impressed with him. He watched her walk up the stairs, just now noticing her outfit. "Wait...what year is this?" He shook his head. He hoped not all people in the future were as rude as his master. He quickly got out of the summoning circle and began his task of cleaning the books. He found a conveniently located rag and began to clean off the books. He noticed that they were spell books and his entire face lit up. He opened them up, and began to read. He was so engrossed in the book, he didn't realize that he had sat down, and how much time had passed.

Erik ignored Jett's comment about him joking and followed him through the stronghold, looking through this safe haven for them both. The place felt even bigger than a mead hall, and was decorated with objects and trinkets that he had never even seen before or could even have imagined with the colors of the whitest snow in the most cruel of winters. It strangely felt like home. However, as they walked, Jett stopped by a staircase and looked up to where they led.
"By the way, upstairs are off limits unless I permit you." Jett told Erik with a serious face, a direct contrast to the foolish bard from earlier. Erik was intrigued but was caught off guard with such strange behavior, maybe there was more to this man than met the eye. He has the characteristics of a warrior hidden beneath the facade of a fool, a cowardly but deadly combination, but he seems to bear a heavy burden. While Erik didn't actually have any interest of going upstairs, whatever could be up there, he gave a small nod to show his respect and understanding. Barely a few seconds after nodding, did Jatt's bardness come back to haunt Erik. The sudden change from earlier seemingly gone from Jatt's memory, as the smaller man put his hand to his chin in thought of something. After a few seconds, Jatt lifted his finger and broke the silence "I have an idea--A light bulb, if you will. Why don't we go scout our enemies...get a bit of a feel for them first!"
"Yes!" Erik roared with excitement in reply, finally heading out to face his enemies was a thought that he appreciated greatly, of course finally seeing this world he was now in was also an added benefit. He followed Jatt through the door, his bear skin changing as he went through the door way, changing into more modern clothes. The clothes covered all of his body, except his hands and head, revealing brown short curly hair, cleanly brushed and taken care of. The suit was of midnight blue with a thin green windowpane pattern. The shirt is white, with lavender stripes running up it. The tie is deep purple, solid and sleek. It's tied with an impeccable, effortless dimple. His pocket square is colorful and vibrant, yet tasteful. The clothes fit snugly onto Erik, as if made by gods for him, making him feel just as comfortable as in his bear wear. The clothes were alien and strange to him, but he had no care for how they looked, he cared for how they felt, but he would still ask about it later.
"That reminds me, what's a lightbulb?"

Several minutes had passed until Isabelle returned to the basement. She felt like she might have given her mentor the wrong impression with her serious demeanor, so she quietly crept down the stairs with a plate of Oreos in one hand, and a glass of milk in the other. The only difference in her appearance was the addition of a long, furry white coat that was decorated with long feathers. Isabelle quickly noticed her servant sitting down on the job while reading her book. A miniature atom-bomb exploded in her mind, but on the outside she remained calm as she approached Jack. Setting the plate down calmly on a table next to the servant, Isabelle wasted no time chugging the entire glass of milk. After wiping off the milk mustache, Jack's master proceeded to separate the two halves of one Oreo so she could lick the cream off of the side it was stuck too. Once all of the cream had been licked off, she stuck the two wafers back together and handed it to Jack politely, "So, you like magic?"

Ah, he didn't notice...
"Here..."
Swiping to the left, a huge portal opened on the left and disappeared as quickly as it left to reveal a large large shelf filled with a variety of books. Walking up to it, he stood on his tiptoes and pulled a large red book from the middle shelf.
"It is a magic called Warping," he said as he approached Dimitri still in the circle.
"Basically as long as I have something marked with this Mark," he explained pointing to a the glowing circle that no appeared on the book, "I can use Warping to move it anywhere I want!"
He tossed the book up into the air, but instead of falling back down, it burst into purple light and reappeared sliding into the shelf as fast as Tyra threw it.
"That's why your in that circle. With my Mark, I can lend you the power of Warping...Unfortunately, I still haven't learned everything, so it takes a while for me to make a Mark with that circle your sitting in."

Jack not looking up from the book, nodded. He accepted the wafers and bit into them, not even noticing there wasn't any cream. "Oh my, these are quite good!" He looked up at his master and his eyes widened. "Oh no. I'm so sorry, M'lady, I'll get back to work right away." He shoved the rest of the wafers in his mouth and scrambled off the floor. He resumed cleaning, embarrassed that he had been caught slacking. As if his first impression wasn't good enough, his second wasn't any better. "Again," he continued, his mouth full of the chocolate cookie, "I extend my dearest apologizes."

OOC: Isn't your ability simply summoning things to you? You never said anything about teleporting marked things anywhere you wanted.

"Don't be sorry, Jack. I understand your curiosity." Isabelle picked up the plate of Oreos with two hands and approached her servant as he was busy cleaning. "Why don't you get up from down there, we're about to leave." She smiled innocently at her servant before reminding him, "You never answered my question, Mr. Frost. Do you like magic?"

"Fascinating! You must have done very well in your studies. In battle, if you can drop me from the skies as a sneak attack..." He chuckled and stretched his arms out wide, "The possibilities are quite limitless." He sighed and looked around. "So the world has changed a lot in 200 years, doesn't help this also isn't Europe." He readjusted his posture. "So master Thron, after the ritual is over, what say you to a stroll around the battlefield? It would be wise to familiarize ourselves with the geography." He patted his stomach, "As well as grab something to eat." He normally wasn't such a laidback man, but he was old enough to be this boy's father, and it kindled some type of family residue still left on his empty soul.

Jack stopped cleaning and swallowed. He nodded, smiling, his perfect white teeth stained by the cookie. "Yes, I do. Although magic was frowned upon in my time period, I always had an interest in it." He walked over to her. "Where are we headed?" Jack was curious to explore this new world. When he was alive, the Black Plague had just died out, and so everything this world had to offer him would be brand new and basically a giant adventure.
