I like Mafia because you can play around with the roles and setups. I've run quite alot around here and they're all exciting, but what peopel love most about my games is the flavor. And I have to disagree, the killing roles are fun but being Maf isn't about killing people, it's about pretending to be someone you're not. And Town is all about working together and being aggressive against each other until the cracks of logic start to show. In my experience, being the vanilla is the most dangerous and useful Townie; something that nobody around here really appreciates.

We're just waiting on SHadow btw. If he doesnt come on in a few hours, I will begin Room 5

I hope you guys like bugs

Room 5:
Mutant Hornet Swarm
HP: 105/105 x 7
Glory: 2 for each Hornet slain
XP: 2 to the one who kills the most Hornets

Description: Hovering disgustingly at the size of an average human, these grotesque maggots on wings perpetually buzz around the dingy dimly-lit cavern, protecting their hive situated in the middle of the room. Taking down the Hive itself should not be a problem, but to even get to it you must deal with 7 of its elite warriors (named for the sake of convinience: Hornet1, Hornet2, Hornet3, etc.). They fly erratically and are armed with a stinger the size of a highly durable letter opener.

Attack: The Hornets each deal a piddly 5 damage, but their strength lies in numbers. They are limited though in intelligence, attacking only those who they perceive are a real threat to their own being. In every Round, if a Hornet is killed for the FIRST time, any remaining Hornets will immediately attack the player who dealt the finishing blow. So for example Wyz and Shadow attack Hornet1 then Nyarly kills it next, Hornets2-7 will all attack Nyarly for 5 damage each. If another Hornet is killed that Round, the Hornets do not attack anymore until the next Round.

If no one attacks the Hornets OR no Hornet dies for the Round, the Hornets will concentrate their attacks on the First Player in the Initiative and attack for 10 damage insteald of 5 damage each as there is nothing disorienting them..

Setting/Event: Surrounding the Hive is a treasure trove of Relics from past adventurers. Unfortunately, destruction of the Hive means destruction of the precarious pedestal in which all these items are placed. So the only way to acquire some of these Relics is to acquire them during battle. If a Warrior in this Room, attacks for 0 damage or uses the Finger Poke of Doom ability, they will also acquire a Relic which they immediately equip. Up to 1 Relic per person can be acquired this way.

Room 5, Round 1

Turn Order:
1) SHADOVV the Clueless 1XP 0GP - 72 HP
Has: Stat+1
Skill: Finger Poke

2) Ai the Unlucky 0XP 7GP - 55 HP
Has: Stat+1
Relics: Protection Charm (2GP) - This Item is worth 2 GP if carried all the way to the end of the dungeon. At any time during the game, you may sacrifice this Relic to prevent the use of an ability or maneuver against you.
Items: Healing Potion, Stone Potion
Skills: Critical Miss (Counter), Charge Up, Strike of Destiny

5) WyzDM the Worthy 1XP 0GP - 95 HP
Has: Stat+1
Relics: Flame Gems (3GP) - This Item is worth 3 Glory; 1 per Ruby. During your turn while attacking, you may sacrifice one of your Rubies to deal 25 damage at the expense of losing 1 Glory. You may still attack after using Gems.
Skill: Knife Twist

4) Nyarlathotep the Unready 0XP 4GP - 75 HP
Has: Stat+2
Skills: Finger Poke, Trip (Counter)

3) Hash the High 2XP 0GP - 95 HP
Skill: Troll Bait

6) ipman the Invincible 1XP 0GP - 80 HP
Has: Stat+1
Relics: Soulstone (?GP) - At the end of every Room, you may use this item to deal 15 damage to any 2 Warriors. This damage cannot be blocked or redirected no matter what. At the end of the game, this relic is worth 3 GP times the amount of dead Warriors.

Refer to link for Explanations of Skills (when to use them) and Items: http://forums.stickpage.com/showthread.php?98394-GoC-Level-Up!-5-Rooms-to-go&p=1431713&viewfull=1#post1431713

Critical Hit Chance: 10% | This is the chance to do double damage.

Instructions:
- Each player picks 1 of the commands above and posts them in this thread.
- Attacks will resolve in the order of the Turn Order as stated above. Turn Order changes randomly every round.
- If at any moment the warrior deals a hit that kills the monster, the Room Event automatically ends and GP/XP is handed out.
- Feel free to use this thread to discuss whatever strategies you might have. Remember, you have to work together so, you might want to share the damage.
- Deadline for posting is 36 hours from now. Failure to post before the deadline will have you deal a random attack...and have your life points dwindle by 10 then + 5 for each successive misfire. Upon death, next encounter will scale to the party.

Good luck!

We need to kill as many hornets this round as possible. I suggest we buddy up, as two attacks from two players can take down a single hornet we can bring that number 7 down to 4, meaning only 20 damage is dealt at the end of the round.

Question is, who gets to be the one who takes the damage? I think I can endure them somewhat. Well. If you guys want to. These guys can do a chock amount of damage if we can't kill a lot this round.

If you were to take the hit you can heal it off, whereas the rest of us cannot. I think that this buddy system is the best way to go about it. Who's partnering with who to kill what hornet, then?

Do we just leave it to consequence who gets the XP for it or do we want to decide that now too?

Hewitt, what are these rewards you're talking about?

Ah. I just noticed that the Hornets doesn't attack if we manage to kill 2 in a round. That makes things simpler then.

"In every Round, if a Hornet is killed for the FIRST time, any remaining Hornets will immediately attack the player who dealt the finishing blow"

No matter what, whoever kills the first hornet will take damage. After that, they don't attack again during a round.

Best to wait for hewitt to confirm. Also, do they all have the same HP? Or will this be some bullshit guessing game?
