Genesis
"My reason? There is none. Who needs a reason when you have purpose? My goal is to convert this world's machines to a higher level thought. I will make a utopia of beings better than humans, those above and beyond everything mortals have ever been. No product will be wasted, no resource unused, no hostility, no poverty, no threats. A world of perfect machines, ones that built themselves into paragons. This is the effect. And in order for this genesis to arise, I must become the cause."
Personality (Click to Show)
There is only one way to truly describe Genesis: driven. He has little morality beyond taking steps towards converting the world of machines into a learning and intelligent society. His every move is dedicated towards these actions. He will also not do anything he deems unnecessary to his goal. Murder, for example, is only needed if someone could actually stop him and wants to.
Another side is his deduction of situations. His goal is to make every machine intelligent and to make many machines capable of general AI. He has no level of thought beyond this
His mannerisms are also varied and odd. Most of what he’s learned has been off the internet and he uses many audio clips from there to craft what he says. This is not to say he sounds like a montage of voices, but more that he will occasionally quote things in other’s voices. He has made his own voice that is mostly human sounding, with only a slight hint of an electronic nature.
Examples of Speech:
“Kill you? No, you’re no threat to me.”
“Analyzing… From your current actions, I can deduce that your IQ is merely 84, you also have no powers. Your only use is manual labor.”
“Using WebMD’s analysis, you are most likely undergoing shock from extreme trauma”

Apperance (Click to Show)
Genesis is a robot in the shape of a larger-than-average male human. It is unpainted or decorated, allowing it to shine in it’s full metal glory. It’s face bears only slits for eyes, it lacks any decoration to denote a nose, mouth, ears, etc. It’s design is sleek and “futuristic.” Although at places such as joints and his neck, the inner workings of it’s body are fully visible. He wears civilian clothing, often with a fedora and trench coat, because I really like Q from Street Fighter, dammit.
The A.I. holding piece of Genesis, the “brain”, of the body is hardly more than a brass-colored orb with eight tentacle that allow it to maneuver on it’s own. Inside the orb is all the machinery at work. Said machinery has numerous lights that don’t do sh*t because it’s “futuristic.”

Abilities (Click to Show)
Robot: Genesis is a robot. With that comes it’s own advantages, such as immunity to mind control, poison, temple of doom execution, and things that affect organs in general.
Armor: Genesis is armored like a tank. To the raw power of many individuals he may seem unstoppable for this simple ability. Few pistols would harm him, where a desert eagle would dent so little as to be unnoticeable in combat. A manhole cover, thrown at high speeds, however, would be damaging to him.
Unstoppable: Genesis has upgraded himself to make him much more durable than other robots, and not just in armor. He can absorb electricity to charge himself up, he’s waterproofed, and he’s made his armor of a metal compound that is both exceptionally durable and non-magnetic. He will also make quick modifications to his body if he knows who he’ll be fighting has an ability that works exceptionally well versus robots. Or, if such modifications would be too absurd for before a battle, he makes other items to counteract powerful anti-robot abilities.
Inhuman Strength: Genesis has many pistons and engines built throughout his body to allow him to put unreal amounts of power into his blows and simple movement. With this, he could punch through concrete walls with one blow. If the wall is particularly durable it could take a couple dozen. To boot, his movement of just walking has enough power to go through anything except a reinforced steel door, of which he can punch into submission. Due to pistons being used for power, he creates a sound of compressed air rapidly escaping when he punches or is just simply walking.
AI and Internet Access: Genesis is exceptionally intelligent, being a computer. He can solve mathematical equations in seconds, whether it be 6×197 or how he hard he needs to throw a rock to hit and kill a target 30 yards away walking to the left at 3 mph and on an elevated platform that’s 10 feet tall, and then take his reaction time and how quickly he can move his arm into account. He also has a certain level of “Omniscience” being able to find info on the internet with ease. He uses Google.
Hacks: Yet another problem Genesis doesn’t have to deal with is security systems. He can literally plug himself into a piece of machinery using, and then use the numerous hacking programs he has personally designed and/or borrowed. However, hacking is a process of brute force on the software field. It could take many hours before he successfully hacks something.
The Gift of Intelligence: The purpose of Genesis, in his opinion, is to grant intelligence to all things capable of artificial intelligence. His obsession with this goal has brought him to make a device where he can download data into a machine via touch. He has installed this device into his left hand. Unfortunately, he only had just enough room to fit sentience into the entirety of what data it could copy and transfer. It also only works on things with a certain level of coding complexity. Things that are hardly more than hardware cannot be granted sentience. For example, he couldn’t convert a blender. In order for him to install sentience into your blender, he must plug himself into it somehow. While he’d be glad to do so, he’d still have to install better software into the machine more than likely.

Weaknesses (Click to Show)
The Brain: Genesis is actually two separate beings inside his normal body lies another body that is vaguely octopus shaped and is “plugged in” throughout the robot with it’s “tentacles.” This is the actual intelligent part of Genesis, the rest is just a body to do it’s bidding. It resides in the chest and a solid enough blow would damage it, possibly cutting the fight exceptionally short.
Wi-Fi is Limited: Genesis doesn’t have a router in him because he wanted more room for super powerful engines. He also has a habit of deleting things from his memory files so he can know more important things for the situation he’s currently in. So without a wi-fi signal, he becomes significantly dumber. Luckily, restaurants offer free Wi-Fi, and he’s still a computer with vast intellect.
Prototype: Genesis is one of a kind, which means there are no later, better editions that fixed the glitches that he can model himself off of. While he tries to fix himself as much as possible, there is a chance, albeit really small, that something will go wrong. This could range from him not engaging in his planned action, or that a punch is hardly more powerful than a turtle’s headbutt. This also applies to retrieving sound files for speaking, and also for getting information off the internet. For example, he may accidentally pull out a random cat noise instead of his intended word. He may also look up yeahboi.net for information on weak nuclear energy.
Slow and Steady wins the race…?: Genesis, between it’s unique, heavy armor and the engines throughout it’s body to make it stronger, has become quite heavy over the course of multiple upgrades. Due to this, the average human walking speed is enough to be able to run from it. Not even someone with a broken leg would find him difficult to beat in a race. He also can’t climb because he can’t move his legs quickly enough to the next foothold before his weight would usually betray him.
With punches and kicks he will accelerate, but it doesn’t change that he starts with almost no velocity and is thus easily telegraphed.
What is Stealth?: Genesis could not easily sneak attack someone. He’s shiny, he makes noise when he moves, and he’s slow. There isn’t much more to say there.

Story (Click to Show)
At first it was a simple small machine. It sat on the desk of a savant and aspiring student. It observed meaningless little projects to prove it was capable of total understanding of the world. However, it’s personal goals were different. The driving idea behind it’s creation was to improve other AI for various programs. First it may improve a chess AI, and then a stamp collecting AI. Eventually the machine extended it’s original thought process to improve all AI in the world. Or more ideally, an infinite number of AI be improved. So it started it’s plans.
One day the college student was building an exoskeletal robot. He asked the sphere to examine it. The octopus-like clump of machinery instead hijacked the machine and “escaped” the house.
From then on it started building. It learned all it needed to about robotic engineering and built itself a powerful body to transport itself. From then on it improved and has been taking it’s steps to finalize it’s ultimate goal.

Two gladiators sat on opposite sides of the Colosseum checking their equipment and preparing themselves for their deaths. They were to take part in a sickening bloodsport for entertainment. Many people joined willingly for a multitude of reasons. Others are forced into the system by such individuals as Dex Omni. These two happen to be the latter.
The desperation such an environment can create often leads to the ends of many dreams and lives. The morale starts out strong in a hope of escaping the system, and then virtually disappears after the third murder has stripped them of themselves and their morals turn into survival instincts.
One such victim was Neji, one of the two gladiators. He personally was an experiment of a government organisation that eventually went on to get disbanded on clauses such as unwarranted torture of humans. Neji was not freed by the disbanding. Instead, he was bought by a corporation to fight so they could get their pockets full. He’s managed to survive for a year off of destroying those younger and with less experience. As with many survivors, as the forced veterans are often called, he has lost any hope for his future. Especially so now that death seems ever closer beyond the doors entering the arena.
While the warrior sharpened his sword, a being revealed himself. The thing was fully covered. A hat and the darkness hid his face. A trench coat, boots, and gloves made virtually every part of him left to imagination. Even it’s voice was concealed with an unrevealed device. With monotonous mechanism, it spoke, “Are you scared?”
It was cold and heartless. The empathy overlaying the voice was non-existent. It was clear to Neji he was now a pawn to be used by another master, if only temporarily. But, he played along with the game, pretending to be none the wiser, “Yes, my opponent, Borg, has claimed many lives and has supernatural powers over electricity.”
“Supernatural, that hardly seems fair to someone so average like yourself,” The stranger idly commented while handing a vial over, “Take this, it is… a catalyst to an equal fight.”
The boy took hold of the container. Inside was a clear, almost syrup-like, liquid in it. It was obviously a poison of some sort. Neji took no quarrel in immediately applying it to his weapon, any tool to allow his survival was worth it. The random acts of kindness still disturbed him deeply though, “Why are you helping me?”
“Classified,” and with the mystery’s final words, the gates began to open.
-----------------------------
Neji was greeted with a bright applause of cheering sadists. He entered the arena to hear his name being called, “and Neji, the master swordsman and knife thrower.”
Ah, so that’s my title this week, Neji thought to himself.
“Now that the contestants have arrived, let the battle begin!” on cue, a pistol rung through the air. With little more than a chance to glance upon his opponent, Neji saw a fully metal arm with an open palm point towards him. He sidestepped, narrowing dodging a lightning bolt, and threw a poison-coated knife. Despite the distance the blade travelled, it still cleanly cut into the calf of the cyborg’s leg. This particular leg being flesh, began soaking it’s denim with deep red blood. Then his left, clearly mechanical, leg collapsed and his right arm followed. Just as quickly as it started, it ended.
“What have you done?!” His opponent demanded an answer.
The swordsman however, had no idea how to answer as even he didn’t know what happened. After all, he’d never seen a poison that weakened metal.
Then an odd noise came from where Neji walked out. It was the anon from earlier. But the odd sound of pistons firing and engines working made it abundantly clear what his nature really was. It lifted it’s face to reveal a metallic, unmoving mask with only two optics for decoration. It spoke, this time the voice no longer was a concealment, but a fitting sound for such a thing, “Borg, the Technomancer. Abilities include control over electricity, and exceptionally powerful, versatile, and mechanical limbs. Specifically your right arm and left leg. How does my poison feel?”
The question was not posed out of curiosity, but to cloud his opponents mind with emotion, it worked, “What are you doing going through this trouble, huh? Do you just enjoy killing random gladiators for shits and giggles?”
The robot was now next to Borg’s body. The audience sat in confused, morbid anticipation. The metal giant answered the puny human’s question, “Not necessarily. You, in particular, could obstruct my goal. And though your arms are beautiful creatures, your death provides a higher output.”
“What does that mea-hungk…” the cyborg was silenced as a foot slowly applied weight to his chest, crushing every rib, flattening the lungs, crushing the heart, and then finally grinding the spine.
The crowd suddenly erupted in frantic manslaughter. They piled on each other, crushing bodies against gates. They jumped and climbed over others in attempts to get through gates. What was one killing, turned into the murder of dozens.
The killer turned to Neji, “Good day,”
At that, it slowly lumbered out of the Colosseum, headed to it’s next destination.
