Hi, I'm Zofen. I got into these stick figure fighting animations, and I'm very new as you can tell. I will be posting some of my first works up here soon, but I don't know if I'm using the right animation software. I'm currently on the Free trial of Adobe Flash professional CC. If anyone has suggestions on what software I could use that would be great.

Well the most popular ones are Flash and Pivot, though there are other options, such as Easytoon. Whatever program you choose to use is up to you, but in my personal opinion, I would not use CC. Use flash by all means, but not CC. There are a number of issues with it crashing constantly and losing your work and is overall a very flawed program compared to its predecessors. Among flash users, Flash 8 is the most popular. Flash 8 is a very old program but works basically the same as CC just 100x smoother. Flash 8 was made by Macromedia before Adobe bought them out and is no longer available, however you may acquire it through other means *wink wink nudge nudge*.

If you find flash isn't for you, you may want to try Pivot or Easytoon. They are both free to download and you can jump right in. So basically what I'm trying to say is there isn't a right or wrong software for animation, it's just what you prefer to use.
