I actually question whether or not Sacred was even aware that a Lets Talk About thread existed before he made this thread. I'm just basing it on how "comes and goes" Sacred is to this forum for the past few years. The irony is, Sacred and Externus were one of the few early topics of Let's Talk About.

I mean, I don't disagree this thread should exist, it's just another thread already stole the show. The only purpose this has is for the ones who missed out or haven't been put in the spotlight

Dang this really didn't take off. I guess you guys don't have a lot of nice things to say about each other haha.

It would take ages to finish if I started writing because there's quite a few people. I think this is why the format of the Lets Talk About thread was better for complimenting and stuff.

The answer is psychological.

A thread created to pat each other in the back carries in itself alot of subliminal implications. Circlejerking. Favortism. The feeling of being unloved if you aren't mentioned. and so on.

I created RTU and Let's Talk About, specifically to counter this. If you showcase 1 or 2 Users every week, the barriers of bias are obliterated. Comment creators get to focus their energy on 1 or 2 at a time, without having to draft a list yourself and wonder who got left out. And the Users themselves being scrutinized are assured that there will always be someone who's going to talk about them within the unavoidable span of the week. And because fewer content shifts in long durations, the thread itself is there to stay, which lulls anyone posting in it to come back time and time again to review previous commentaries recorded and slated on the front page for posterity.

I'm not saying this thread is a failure. I'm just stating why it appears to, when it's been proven that if Users are asked to evaluate another they will readily do so under certain circumstances.

As Error would say, maybe this will pick up later.

Well jesus, Hewitt, I don't science this stuff out like you do. I just drop in occasionally and would really like to see some genuine and honest positivity around here. I forgot about those other threads you mentioned, but that only goes to make what I said about you more correct. So ha, I win.

Or maybe not a lot of people have much to say about others, if you check the Let's talk about, there are a lots of things like "never talked with him/her. Seems cool"

It happens to me too lol I think the person I had more contact with was Externus, and it wasn't really much, a couple of Pm's.
I can say some things about some people but it'd be short. Meh let's try anyways

Hewitt: I know you like to be on top Image Man, I always burst in laugh with the stuff you say. I love your humour, it's just perfect. Not to mention how great you are at serious writing And when you mix both, oh boy. Lots of people (including me, at a time) wonders why are you here, if you don't even animate. Now I wonder why wouldn't we want you here?

Externus: Funny thing, we actually interacted some time ago in deviantart. Don't remember where, I think at some beginner' zetabrand style animation lol. You're part of that gang of dudes that always makes me laugh (but you make it on another way I can't really explain). And while getting to know you more, seeing through all of that brutal honesty, I saw a neat guy with a pretty sharp and objective (when it matters) mind, something not everyone can do (and that's something that makes sense perfectly with that brutality I mentioned lol). You also were the first one to give me some good quality CnC, and not just the typical "work on easing and stuff", which I appreciated a lot.

Devour: I don't know you that much, but I always liked your good vibes :o I think I never saw you posting a rant or a comment trying to be all snarky and stuff. I noticed that a while ago and it got carved on a tiny piece of my mind, like a sticky note with a reason to remember who you are

Law (formely "R.D Luffy"): He vanished from the fcking site. He's probably on the dojo lol
We haven't talked since like forever, but you were my first battle here, and also clan mates for some time. I'd like to say more, but like I said, YOU VANISHED DAMMIT.

And like happened with Law, lots of people I talked with when I started at the forums vanished. Probably to Dojo too. I saw some old clan mate anim at the Dojo and he got a lot better, and damn, so sad I missed his progress. I'd have loved to be with those guys, doing some battles, and getting better together but GOD DAMN THE DOJO.

Hewitt: Thanks for the help around the forums man, wouldn't be here without your guidance. But from what i noticed, you are like, the Rick Grimes of StickPage. The leader of the wolf pack. Forgive me for the dumb questions though.

Externus: You have a lot of talent, i see that. Theoretically.
Make sure whatever you do will finish! I know you can.

Salt: I love our talks, you're always chill and all, i consider you as a best friend on the internet, might as well drop that there. Hope you finish that animation you've been workin on for a while.
