My reason for joining stickpage is I have casually followed along with stickpage and have played it's games when I was younger about 6 years ago and then when I started getting older I REALLY got into it. The past two years I have watched many animations. My favorite concept created by stickpage is the RHG system.

I don't know about you guys but it is the coolest idea ever. Putting two animators against each other with a set debt line as they use their minds to create something fantastic! I am not too deep into the way it works but I have read the rules and seen the battles and I LOVE them. I have yet to make my own because I just simply lack the time to properly invest my time into it. I would hate myself if I just created my ideal character with half effort and motivation. Maybe when I get into my college level animation class ((if I get into it)) next year I will find the time to properly develop my character. Concept and abilities and even an ideal path as an animator have all been planned out.

I don't want to stretch this out any longer than I have to so I will just say it feels good to have finally joined the community! And I am very happy for stickpage turning stick wars into an app game. Congrats to Stickpage!

Everything seems clear and explanatory except the "bumping" which I fear I might accidentally end up doing by harmlessly trying to post onto a thread.

I also need to learn to navigate the forums and such because I have no experience with forum websites so this is all new to me.

Commiting the illegal stickpage rule "Bumping" is by posting on a thread that is a week old.
So for example, It says that the last post on the thread was January 1, and it's already Febuary. Then if you post on that thread, that would be called "bumping". It literally means bumping an old thread.

Thank you IPMan! Also if you have the time and would be so kind as to answer a few navigation questions? Such as if I were to create a Flash animation and I wanted to show it off to get some pointers as to getting better at animating, choreography, et. Where would I go?

And later on in my time here on stickpage if I were to want to challenge another User to an official RHG battle what is the most proper and polite way to do so?

And I saw a rule that said if I posted a demo of my RHG character that music is not allowed. Is that only for the demo or is that for any animation I post on stickpage?

Adding from what Ipman said there, you're only allowed to bump a thread under these conditions:
1. The thread itself is still recent (e.g. 2-3 weeks old from my personal reference) and you wish to contribute properly on the topic provided (and it has to be really properly though, or else you'd be in trouble).
2. It's your own RHG / WIP a.k.a. Work In Progress / Clan thread in which you can bump it so long as you give a reasonable cause as to why you do that (i.e. updates).
3. The thread has a really significant history and also important roles that other members often post to (e.g. The Chat Thread and Anime/Manga Thread).
Still - to play safe, it's best not to bump the thread that is not yours unless it's really important. Though this is still a subject to change until now. Out of context bit, some of thread topics have their own rules on the frontpage like roleplays or forum games, so best to keep an eye on it as well for that kind - if you're planning onto joining one someday.

Okay so I refreshed the page and saw you asked some questions. I'd try to answer 'em:

If I were to create a Flash animation and I wanted to show it off to get some pointers as to getting better at animating, choreography, et. Where would I go?

You can upload it to fastSWF and post a new thread here. There are Pivot, Flash and Easytoon sections - you can post your anim into one of these sections depending on the software you use there.

And later on in my time here on stickpage if I were to want to challenge another User to an official RHG battle what is the most proper and polite way to do so?

You can go to their user profile and kindly VM (Visitor Message) or PM (Private Message) them. Depends on their availability though, you are not allowed to force them if they can't accept your challenge since they have their right to decline 'em if they're busy.

Music is allowed inside a demo and any other animations - you can still have it. However, you're not allowed to have sounds/musics inside your interactive forum signature.

Apart of it, I kindly welcome you to the site. Hope you'll have fun and don't doubt yourself to ask me if you have questions (unless it's site history-related then may as well ask older members/forum mods. They won't bite if you don't mess with them). :D

Yeah from what I heard FllFFl/ Terkoiz hasn't been on Stickpage for awhile yet his account was in the chat. Then again I may just lack information on all that and am just spouting nonsense :P

The forums do seem pretty lively.

I also wanted to post my first pivot animation but being the teenager I was I didn't know when to stop adding onto the same animation and just make a new one so basically I ended up with I think a 16 minute long poorly animated pivot XD. Basic plot? I made a DBZ character XD running around, fighting, shooting ki, more fighting, fusion because why not? and just a whole bunch of junk XD its so big i cant post it anywhere. It's just stuck on an old computer for anyone who shows up at my house and knows I like stick animations.

I dont use pivot anymore and I'm learning FlashPro in a 2D anime class which is too easy for me which is why I want to get into the college animation class so badly.

The only thing keeping me out is I didn't have Perfect test scores on these two tests from 3 years ago. basically there are 100 points possible.

20 from visiting the campus
30 for the two tests
and 50 for the three questions you have to answer to show why you want the class, qualifications, experience, et.

I visited last year, got 50 points from the questions last year (I am pretty impressive on paper XD), and then on the tests I got 24 out of 30.

my total was 94 points. Still a mid level A. I should totally get in right? Sadly I didn't. over 100 people tried to get into a 30 person class. I was THE TOP of the waiting list and didn't get in. I am trying again this year and I am retaking the tests. I have the potential to get 101 points because I get a persistence point for trying the same class twice. Wish me luck! (this year almost 200 people are applying).

Oh, Terkoiz is not really here nowadays, sadly. I think he's more onto Hyun's Dojo as he posts there several times on that deary site. Let's say it's another stick figure site if you're not familiar about it.

And woah dude, that's honestly helluva story you have there .o. didn't know that kind of test can be really tight. Good luck with trying it out again, you should get an upper hand for trying it second time.

Thank you :) and I am very aware of Hyuns dojo and I love his work but I didn't think Terkoiz was active there either because I haven't seen any activity from him.

To Person McPerson: yeah I tend to try and stay upbeat and happy since I just let go of all the hurt. I would give examples but that would just be dumping my past drama stories XD. Let's just say being single is hella fun! And allows you to make a lot more friends ^-^

Also I don't know if you guys can see my avatar. Can only friends see avatars? I would prefer everyone be able to see it. Then again I need a profile pic but that can wait till I design something new.

He just post occasionally, not frequently. His latest post there was around late Nov 2015. Really, he didn't post much, but that enough indicates his presence on Dojo more than SP for now XD
