Okay, so....

I currently am using a Gladiator that I like.

But....whenever an idea for one, I have written it down.

So, I'm just curious about which ones I should keep, and general CnC on them.

So, first, here is my current one:

Altaer, Lord of the Abyss

And here are the other ones I have created:

Aech'i, The Helios Di (I forgot on this one to write in the formating)

Hollowell

Apollos Mortagon

My two favorites were Altaer and Apollos.

I went with Altaer because of how well the story of who he was and what he's become rolls off the tongue. All the characters on this page are regular human males with some level of giftedness that gives them an edge in society and puts them in a situation where they may becomes something greater or more terrifying. Altaer however is both, was both, and has had these qualities given even more power as Lord of the Abyss. The transformation boosts Altaer's already-acquired status as a powerful foe, while maintaining the compelling nature of the character as the slayer of those who spread ill will unto others.

And I went with Apollos because his only power is standing tall as perhaps the greatest of men, and his only weakness is that he may be nothing more.

As for the others, I'd be interested to see more of them, but I'd be more inclined to read a story with one of the aforementioned two than anyone else.

I think they're all really interesting characters, and whenever one of these things come up, I always say go with whoever you'll have the most fun developing. Having said that, the only one that I lean from is Aech'i. Maybe he'd be fun to personally develop, but his incorporation into other people's story-lines via their battles...

Gas:
Mind reading

Gas:
This is Di's standard state. He his entirely invisible and undetectable by any means whatsoever. Since he is immensely massive, at his most diffuse he can be present throughout over 180 square miles (3 sq. mi. = 5 km^2) , allowing him to be "omnipresent" over entire states/territories/countries.

Personality:
Di is refined and noble usually. He can speak and converse well, and it must be remembered that he is a sentient being with the soul of a human (more or less).

Kinda can kill any and all suspense when you can ask the local god the answers to your questions.

Thanks for the input!

I kinda expected Aech'i to lose on this one. He's actually a char I created about a year ago for something which i don't remember, but I noticed him in my file list so I just made the profile RHG compatible and posted it.

Personally, I have to agree with Chro7's assessment. Altaer and Apollos are both the easiest to work with, and at the same time have the greatest potential.

Hollowell is just...well, I have since read Handyman's profile, and essentially Hollowell would fall into the same category. A Char that is more a development tool for the other person than an entity unto himself.

Well then, I'll pay attention to more posts here, but two seasoned players have backed my own feelings, so that's pretty much decided. I will continue to use Altaer until it's impractical to continue, and then I will replace him with Apollos.
