Alright so there seems to be quite some people who are hyped for BSE version 6, wich I'm really happy to see! Now I got the suggestion that I should let you guys come up with the themes for this versoin, wich I think would be a great idea. This way you guys get to influence on what you will have to animate!
Some themes I thought of already are Sci-fi, Fantasy, Gore, Horror and Video games. Please let me know of any themes that you would like to see in this BSE.
If you liked the old BSE concept with "Special elements" you can suggest those aswell as we still might go back to that for some rounds if we notice that alot of people really want to have special elements again.
Let's hear your suggestions!

Traps, a new deadly trap spawns every 3 sec, tilt someone dies, along with set combo, it can be used as a for later rounds...from 4-7 round it should be place for this.

I like the video game theme idea, would be cool to do.

I don't think there was much weapon action in the last BSEs. I'd love to see some of those in BSEv6.

battle of different sizes? like a giant versus a gnome,

One VS Two, with two different combos going at the same time. Combos can be done by either side.

I love that video game idea, but i remember a long time ago i saw an anim where one guy had like 4 arms and 3 legs. I think that'd be a fun concept as well, having more limbs than normal.

Beating a motherfucker with another motherfucker
That aside, I think the special elements shouldn't be adopted: linear combos will more than work
The only thing I'd suggest are themes that would force to adopt determined backgrounds and situations
Like, I don't know,
-western
-urban
-cyberpunk
-space
-historycal
Basically taking one of the many film genres already existing that is also suited for a fight scene as the BSE requires https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_genres#Film_and_television_formats_and_genres

I'd like to see different animation styles be used. Hell, even a fullbody round could be a challenge round and new to beginners. Even those with mice and trackpads such as myself could easily still pull it off give enough effort. The combo could be much simpler.
I'd like to see one about colors. Not a very FULL one content wise, but it'd be great practice and cool to see how people can use colors.
I'd like to see additional limbs.
I'd like to see certain fighting styles: boxing, kendo, fencing, judo, etc.
I'd like to see something with weapons since it hasn't been done a whole lot.
I'd like to see a spin on some popular collabs even: Doors, Punchman vs KickDude, Spin, etc.
I'd like to see ones with a template, where users are given, let's say a path; maze; etc.
I'd like to see one with varying INTENSITY. It can be average, then REALLY INTENSE, then out of nowhere, all the hits are really soft.
I'll post again when I come up with more ideas. I kinda just brainstormed.

I second all of these ideas.

What about angles? Arch-Angle would probably fit Arch-Angel, eh?
...I'll take my leave...
But even so, what about focusing reaaaal hard about one aspect of animation? Like easing? Like, super eeeeeeeaaaaaasiiiiiiiing, like sliding on butter, or suffering from a time dilation (slowdown - fastup)
