I think CAPSLOCK very person to person and meduim to medium. It can span from "WHAT THE FUCK" to "LOOK AT ME" so there is always a need for context. Personally, I'm cool with it being used for titles, sales or the occasional ephisis word, but I've gotten the yelling a few times and it's typically less "Oh no, my feelings" and more "You're really shitty at being an adult, but alright." There are better ways to convay rage than busting that out and honestly, it's gotten difficult to take seriously for me. Another time that I see it is when older people who don't quite have the internet down send something. If your eyes aren't what they used to be, letter to letter it would be easier to see what you're saying, but without any clear reason for it, it just looks sloppy and ignorant.

Having said that, I will gladly deal with CAPSLOCK before those all abbreviations or 1337 speak. Also, Everything I Say Is A Song Title. Fuck those last people in particular, that is the comic sans of capitalizing.

Someone can just using only CAPS LOCK FOR A WHOLE MONTH IN EVERY SINGLE POST AND THEN SWITCH BACK TO normal formatting so you can see the result of how it affects you.
