Can we make the combo longer or add our own shit? This is so small that it's even boring to animate tbh.

I'm not trying to be mod or something but if you can keep up with the rules set for this round, then skip it.

Urban? So simple!
Yeah this is the first round of this BSE version. This competition is ment for new animators to improve and grow, aswell as for veterans to show what they can do with a simple concept. For this round, simply animate the combo in a urban environment, and try to make use of the urban elements. Doing some parkour or jumping between rooftops would be nice!

Why is the combo so short?
Again, this is the first round. There are alot of new animators joining this competition. We're starting off easy and will gradually get more advanced.

To answer your question, you may not add or remove anything from the theme or the combo. You can add an intro or an outro though.

Also, look at what Phil made with a combo of the same length as this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AaJ7Zan_5xI

I'd say that part of the challange, especialy for more professional animators, is to take a simple concept and make it advanced. If the combo is short, make the most out of the theme instead. And you can still perform the combo in endless ways. Be creative!

Yeah that's what I was thinking of doing: using the theme to spice it up. It was a dumb question anyway tho.

Yeah i can probably pull off a combo like that with like 2 seconds, but I'm definitely going to make it around 30 or more. Hey, like let's say one of the punches is really strong, and the guy ends up flying into a building or two, getting hurt more in the process. Is that alright?

Yes ofcourse!
At the same though, a 15 sec animation of high quality will probably get you a better score than a 30 sec anim with mediocre quality. Quality over quantity.

Yup, i got it. Lots of quality as well. Also, let's say for one of the hits, the guy attacks a building, making it come off balance, making it fall onto the other guy. is that alright as well?

can i add missed punches as long as there are no counter attacks? i was planning on making the main stickfigure dodge some punches.

I wanted to ask the same thing,I think it would be better if the dodges are quick enough not to slow down the combo.
