Toribash is a physics based, full body control, fighting game.

Image

It can be downloaded off of steam or the Toribash website (steam is preferable, because u can add people to friends list)
It's a tiny download and I would be surprised if it took more than a few minutes to download

This thread is for: discussion about the game, replay sharing, sharing moves you made or found, sharing mods you liked, or just chat related to the game

Give me your steam user name and Preferred game mode, and I'll add you to the list

I tried this game out a while ago. Even though I enjoyed playing it I didn't really keep up with it, because I didn't know anyone that played it.

But if some of ya'll want to play I'd be keen to re download it.

I had the same problem as you. I had fun playing with it for a while, but nobody I knew played it. I have it on my steam, so hit me up (Turquoise_2) if you wanna play.

I've been playing this game for quite a while (a personal favorite of mine, actually) and it's pretty amazing. Eventually, using the free download through Steam (they didn't want to spend money and one of them actually was afraid I'd give them a virus, go figure) I managed to coax my best friend into playing it. Coincidentally, I've also managed to get them into animations. They're going to try animation with stuff like SFM first, but they said that if I helped them out they might try Pivot.
I'm the (Parenthetical {Sans}).

Navi *HEY LISTEN*
Link *STFU NAVI, NOBODY GIVES A CRAP*

any one know how to make Toribash mods? (I mean your semi-good-ish at it)
cause there was an awesome event that I missed long ago, that we might be able to re-create, the event was:

  • You requested a weapon w/ a reference description/image (the weapon did have restrictions on the object count and abilities ect.)
  • You get put in a tournament bracket
  • The mod creators would make a mod where you and your opponent's weapons are placed in your/their hand(s)
  • Then you do a best of 5 match (I'm not sure if it was best of 3 or 5 but I think it was 5)
  • The replays are sent in and the bracket is moved up
  • Certain restrictions are removed, depending on what "challenges" you completed that round
  • Weapons are edited accordingly
  • Repeat until you have a winner

So, what ya think?
Any one able to Help me accomplish this?
(I'll be trying to learn to make mods, but I'm not that great yet)
(also I cant find a link to the event, cause Toribash forums are kinda dumb)

All I have to say is... Good luck
(Learning this game is like learning to animate, but LESS cooperative)
