You sure they didn't come before?
Also, while installing pivot, there are things like "Do SafeSearch" and you can check them off if you wish. DId you just ignore them and kept on clicking continue?

I've not used Pivot, but it is freeware to my knowledge - which means it might encourage downloads of other software etc. You should be aware of this when considering something which is freeware. I've also heard Pivot produces false positives as a result.

Where did you download it from, was it a reliable source?

I downloaded it from its website and yeah I searched it, but after it said it was fine and downloaded, it shut off my virus protector and force downloaded a "360Security"

It's not the program itself.
It was probably the website. I remember a friend told me the website was hacked once, and I got Pivot from him.
Does 360 protector block everything you try to do to delete it or install another antivirus?
Maybe you should ask Mgee, he's the pivot expert here.

I would run MBAM to be safe (has a free trial, google for info) and also uninstall anything you've had downloaded as a result of attempting to download official Pivot.

I've had a look at the download page of what appears to be the official site and it contains two download links, the first one (linked to the download image) points to a disguised URL of another domain which seems unusual??? (I've not clicked this to see what it actually leads too/does).

It does provide a second download link, although not tested myself, that seems more reliable as it's hosted on the same domain as what appears to be the official site (labelled "Alternative Installer").

Obviously it's down to you what you download, I've just highlighted some observations without attempting anything myself (so I can't be used as a guinea pig or held liable for any problems).

I've not posted any links as I can't without the post being automatically unapproved as I'm a new member.

Good luck!

Ok thanks. Btw, cool RHG(s?). The whole reason I was downloading was so I can make my own RHG, Ravine.

With those two on your side, you should be good.
