Alright, here we go, my first shot at running an RP, this probably won't start for a little bit, maybe two days or so. But anyway, this is it. I proudly present:
DUNGEONS
DUNGEONS
Recent Happenings: I just started, nothing’s going on…

Background:
The year is 2019, and no, there is not an apocalyptic world war. And no, the world isn’t under a dystopian rule. That’s too easy.
2019, only a few years in the future, has given gamers a rise to prominence. And within the gaming community, eight players have risen above the rest…
AJ Simons, a now famous game designer has invited these eight individuals to be the first to play his newest game, labelled simply as Dungeons.
The limited knowledge of the game, along with their overwhelming curiosity, has brought all eight players to try and beat the game. When they arrive, they realize it isn’t just another regular game.
Simons has gone all out and has created an immersive VR RPG that’s many years ahead of today’s technology…
Objective: Get to the final Dungeon in the Game, simple sounding? Yes! Easy? No… Not at all, there will be a randomized set of floors that each have more and tougher enemies than the last. You’ll have to either get the best gear in the game or team up with the other players and share the loot, unless you wanna be a prick and not share…
Each floor has multiple rooms, you’ll all start in a different one on the same floor. You can go back to any floor or room you’ve completed. This can help you in some cases, as the backtracking can result in you finding new, better gear.
Enemies? It’s a virtual reality game, whatever AJ Simons (me) wants in the game as an enemy, it’ll be in there.
Also, always be on the lookout for stronger than average enemies on any floor, they drop very good loot…
Characters:
Character creation is completely up to you guys, but with a few restrictions.
First of all, since this is a VR RPG, Simons has created three preset classes that determine how you will play the game…

Spoiler (Click to Show)
Sword/Shield: Wield a shield to block attacks/reduce damage, as well as any melee weapon.
Two-Handed: Wield a larger than average weapon, (Long-Sword, Mace, etc.) that increases reach of weapon and overall massively increases damage.
Ranged Fighter: Fighters who stay a bit farther from the fray, using ranged weapons to deal mid to high amounts of damage to enemies.
The Three Sub-groups include:
Spoiler (Click to Show)
Crossbow: The main strength in this weapon is customization. The Crossbow can be equipped with items such as a bayonet for close quarters, a clip of arrows for a faster fire rate, you name it...
Musketeer: The name speaks for itself, you’re a musketeer. Equipped with a rifle that can eventually be upgraded to practically a sniper, the Musketeer can dish out huge, damaging shots on the battlefield.
The Third and final class of Player, the Spellcaster: These fighters aren’t shy of getting into the grit to do close quarters combat, but mostly defer to using powerful spells to aid themselves and their allies.
The Three Sub-Groups Include:
Spoiler (Click to Show)
Electro: This variant specializes in Lightning Magic, able to chain attacks through enemies and dealing moderate to high damage in short bursts. This is the fastest moving class in the game…
Healer: Name makes it pretty obvious, but this class has a bit more to it than just healing your teammates or yourself. They can actually use both fire and lightning magic, just on a smaller, less damaging scale…

These abilities will unlock at the level you choose. PM them to me, as well as a short description of the ability and the level unlocked, and I'll give the Okay.
Depending on how strong the ability is, please be considerate at what level it unlocks. If it's the ultimate in game move that slays all enemies in a single blow. Probably place the unlock at Level 999. If you get my drift...
And yes, I should've added this to the original post awhile, I apologize.
The Characters will need the following info in their entry:
Name:
Appearance: (Specify between what they look like in the game and what they look like IRL, as there will be some real world scenarios, if I want to… Hehehe…)
Backstory: How the character rose to world prominence in the gaming realm, a little backstory behind that if you want to as well.
Personality: As it’s the person themselves being transported into Dungeons, their personality travels over, so we need to know what they’re like.
Class: As Explained Above, you’ll need to pick one of three classes: Melee, Ranged, or Spellcaster.
Sub-Class: See above for more info, but the Sub-Groups include: (Melee): Dual Wield, Sword/Shield, Two-Handed. (Ranged): Long Bow, Crossbow, Musketeer. (Spellcaster): Pyro, Electro, Healer.
Preferred Weapon: Knowing which weapon each player prefers in his/her class will spawn them in the game with said weapon.
Melee fighters use a wide variety, like axes, swords, spears, maces, scythes, etc.
Ranged Fighters have a smaller range of bows, but these include Composite, Recurve, and Compound bows. If you were to choose the Long-Bow Sub-Class, you would be automatically given a long bow.
The Spellcasters can wield melee weapons, but these must be pole at their base. (Halberd, bō staff, spear, etc.)
General Rules and Stuff:
Please don’t be a jerk. I hate those kind of people, if you fail to comply with others complaints, and eventually mine, you will have to be kicked from Dungeons…
To Make sure you guys actually read this entire wall of text and understand, put the phrase, “Is this a rip-off of Sword Art Online?” at the bottom of your entry.
There are eight spots open, three for Melee Fighters, three for Ranged Fighters, and two for Spellcasters. First come first served on classes. Priority is a special case in this RP, whoever catches my eye with the most creative character or weapon, will get in if I like them enough. ;)
In terms of teams, you may form parties as big as you want, as long as both people(s) want to form the party. The benefits of said party include:
- Revival by party members instead of instantly respawning at the beginning.
- Larger sets of strategies to use against baddies.
- And Friendships! (Like you really want that anyway…)

Class: Melee
Sub-Class: Two-Handed

A silver, gold-rimmed halberd.
Abilities
Spin Attack- An attack which greatly lowers his speed while in use. Other than that, it's a spin attack. Pretty self explanatory. Optimized for sword.
Dash Attack- An attack in which he charges up and dashes towards an enemy, and when the distance is just right, lunges, stabbing at the enemy. At max charge, takes about a minute to charge and covers 200ft in five seconds. Optimized for halberd.

Spoiler (Click to Show)
-Real Life: He is an above average height Asian-American male. He wears jeans and green t-shirts.
Backstory: The quintessential knowledge player. Not a single detail of how a game works goes unnoticed by John. He has highly above average applicable skills, but all his wins stem from the knowledge he comes in knowing or garners from observation. He actually cares very little about his wins, and sees playing a game as a test of his knowledge, understanding it to be a test against himself, rather than the other players or game itself. Prior to any actual gameplay, John spends upwards of weeks compiling all the information and techniques he can about the said game, and that being said, he is good at a very select few games, but is at the top of all of them, although that isn't his main goal. He is a well-versed orator and makes for a grand diplomatist.
Personality: John appears withdrawn and oblivious, but this only occurs due to his constant observation of everything. He dispenses little trust and relies on himself. However, when he is relaxed, he is sociable and well-spoken, although not trusting and open. He holds no relationship too close to his heart and only forms platonic alliances.
Class: Ranged; sub-class: crossbow
Preferred Weapon: Tornado crossbow, ViperX strings (with several repla
