Hello there.

Since Concussion has finished, I'm currently brainstorming ideas on a new game I should work on.

I have a few ideas, but here's one such idea:

I'll just leave this here for now. Keep in mind this may or may not happen, I'm still fleshing out ideas.

Another idea I have is another Undertale fan game, or an endless runner for mobile. I'm also open to ideas, if anyone has any.

Thanks!

So do you want us to give you ideas, or just let you be?

I believe he's asking for ideas.

Hmm,

It could be centered around a stick figure falling down an endless elevator shaft while having to shift to the side in various directions to dodge obstacles while also dealing with zombies and whatnot that jump out ahead of him, maybe even falling with him. At various checkpoints, you could have different weapons that the player can buy and/or equipment/usable tools to help them get further. You could even have the occasional boss that the player fights while both the boss and them are falling.

I would play that. :D

I like that idea. But I don't like how most games have one person (you, the player) take down many enemies at once. It's generic. I liked the idea Pikmin had. Have many people (all you) take down one massive enemy.

Wow... that does sound really fun. Maybe a Co-Op mode with AI or other players (You could have 2 or more using different keys on the same keyboard) fighting various bosses while everyone is falling? You could even have grappling hooks and team-combos and whatnot.

You could even expand it beyond elevator shafts... You could have the players falling through nightmares, Undertale zones, caverns, hallucinations, and lots of other stuff. You could even have various different people work-on/implement different areas that merge together one after the other while playing until you have a huge library of zones to give the game a replay value (As soon as the player(s) get through 1 zone, they could get a checkpoint before instantly going onto the next one, chosen at random?).

Eh?

That's actually quite an interesting idea. I'll be sure to add that to the list. Thanks!

Multiplayer (online) would be quite awesome to set up, and also viable now that I've ditched Flash. However, it wouldn't be a core component of the game, because if the game never gets popular in the first place, then I wouldn't want it to rely on multiplayer.
What's everyone else's thoughts on this idea?

YES.

MORE YES.

ALL THE YES.

That would be the greatest video-gamey-stick-figurey-thing... ever.

You could have purchasable cosmetics and have teams of 4 or something that can group together. You could have each player buy their own items during checkpoints and have a limited amount of time to plan out their strategy of how to work together with the tools they have for the next zone. You could have single player have the option of playing with AI or alone. You could have the option to either fight swarms or various bosses 1 after the other. And/Or, you could have the additional option to fight a swarm with the occasional boss as well. You could even have the option to allow the players to switch between boss only/swarm only/mix with every checkpoint/new zone.

You could EVEN have the option for people to make their own zones in-game and petition them to be added to the list. You could even give players the option to choose and pick their favorite zones and make a custom list that is randomly shuffled every time they play. In Co-Op, you could have the party create their own list or combine all their lists. You could even have different classes/playable characters, maybe even allowing players to design/create their own.

^ Idea stuff, totally-not-a-wall-of-text.

Maybe powerups to go along with it? E.G: Rocket boosters, HP, extra damage, etc.
Maybe custom skins or weapons or attatchments.
Also custom abilities would be cool

I wish I could upvote this.

Powerups rock. Ooo ooo, you could turn this into some sort of online game, with a sort of competitive aspect where there is a leaderboard for longest distance/time for single player and multiplayer groups for each gamemode?

You could even make clans...

GMR has ascended to a triple A level studio with financial stability grand enough to support a vast array of servers.

How about a game like QWOP, except it's fighting?

Another random idea... Dodgeball! Basically you control a team and face off against another team. And a mini game can be Hot Potato.

I have a game idea that has been floating around in my head for a while.
It's basically a side scrolling platform era with 4 characters, each one with a unique movement option, and a unique attack. You would go through levels by switching though characters as you needed to advance.
Some customization perhaps?
