I don't even know why they would remove any of these.
Well, I guess Google is to websites as Microsoft is to video games.

Featured content that is actually fair. Because the only thing that you will see if you have no subscriptions is just late night comedy, ads, and (big name) music channels.
I would love to see some animation, low budget movie, or music producing channels become featured content from popularity, or some sort of bi-weekly voting system. that way, channels that make good content get recognition, and channels that consistently make good content will be rewarded.
Also, try fixing the youtube copyright system.

Yeah but the thing is most animations and low budget movies get nowhere near the amount of views late night comedy shows or big music channels get.

What I had in mind to fix that was that you would have a "vote-log" that basically is a section of the website you can go to so you can see which channels have been voted on, and by whom.
And EVERY voted channel would be on that list, sorted by a vote/views ratio, so that way people who don't have accounts and only go onto YouTube occasionally but still contribute in views wouldn't be counted.

But there would be so many YT channels it would be impossible to see all of them.

There would be search settings to mitigate that problem, but I don't think anything can be done to fix that flaw in my suggestion.

Yes but the thing is that there would be so many YT channels even if some YT channels rose to fame, most of them would never even be heard of.

Hire people to go through the list and watch each individual video?
