Sanctuary
Well now look at you. Homeless, hungry, broken, afraid. But what about those who ignore you, those who simply pass you by on the street without so much as a second glance. Each one of them you have helped at least once in your life, for this is the person you are. You aid the weak, guide the strong, and give a purpose to every life... and yet they pretend not to know you. They are... sinners...and forgetful ones at that. Your heart, although not absolutely pure, is light in terms of corruption, therefore I have chosen you... to cleanse them as well.
Blood trickled down the gold of Sencarn's claws, his crimson eyes only half open as the child's frantic gurgling came to an end. From the puncture wounds seeped the fluid, the child's now stilled eyes staring blankly into the face of his killer as another powdery substance began to emanate from the holes in his throat. It was now that the incarnation of sin opened his eyes, the powder ascending to his pupils almost instantly as each and every one of the young boy's now slain memories flooded Sencarn's mind.
"Theft. Murder. Countless Lies. Rape?" Sencarn's eyes shifted under the analysis, the fourteen year-old's past painting quite the vivid picture just before the sin incarnate dropped him back onto the street. For each sin collected his eyes grew lighter, the once dark red pupils given to him at birth now a steady crimson as his most recent victim had been passed on to be judged. So many people had come before the child, each and every one of their faces the same as his own. They were always confused. They had thought they'd been leading pure lives, a life their "Father" had wanted them to live based on the hand they'd been dealt. Thugs, priests, pastors, rapists, drug lords... none were exempt, and not a single one of them could understand why.
Sencarn dropped his hand to the boy's tunic covered chest, the golden gauntlet on his hand radiating a pristine aura as the boy's body slowly began to calcify from the point of contact. Gold spread like a virus, no inch left uncovered as the child's sinful vessel was slowly turned rich. Sencarn pulled his hand away from the child and frowned in question.
"What would happen," He whispered silently to himself, "if their God decided to give them a second chance?"
The thought was cut short, Sencarn's golden clawed gauntlet warping into a monocle made from a similarly prosperous material. In the single lens was an old friend of his, a psychopath by the name of Gus, whose many years surrounded by death had left the man able to find humor in just about any thing. However, it was apparent here that this was no laughing matter, as the straightness of Gus' features only suggested the worst of what Sencarn had already been fearing.
"They put three more gladiators out of commission today, Sin, and yet more and more are signing to the same fate. They see it as the only way to get by, the only way society will accept them. I understand your foresight is working as best it can, but at this rate you aren't going to be able to fetch them all before it's too late. I'm all for dead bodies, but not when they belong to those we're supposed to be there for. Not even a week in and our name is a joke. Recruitment needs to start. My estimates sugge-"
"Oh, enough of your estimates, Gus" Sencarn snapped back, a rift in space-time opening before him as he spoke. "I shall approve your recruitment, but you must promise me that the people you bring in are of no relation to yourself or your past. The last thing we need is to become a den of slobbering psychopaths, and I dread the idea to having to collect such a vast number of sins from my best friend and his goons."
The scientist glanced over to Sencarn with a confident grin plastered on his face, his boss now glaring directly from beside him with golden child tucked under his arm. "As though I would let another two-bit 'Dr.Eggman' take my spotlight. You have my word that I will be sensible and indiscriminate in my selection."
"I hope so, for both your and their sake. Remember we are a home above all else, and that our mission is to show our people and people like us that we don't have to participate in their blood sport in order to be accepted. Make it clear, the corruption in that system, and let them all know that revolution is the only answer capable of producing favorable results."
"Will do, and well said. So... what's with the shiny kid?"
"Oh, this? I'm taking him to the 'boiler room'. Someone's gotta pay bills around here."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sanctuary was founded by Sencarn, whose innately kind and selfless nature lead to his own ruin. In the wake of his homelessness, a vision presented itself to the young man and set him on a path. To make a very long story short, Sencarn obtained his power at the end of his path, which allows him to manipulate powers incarnated to represent to seven cardinal sins known as Greed, Lust, Gluttony, Envy, Pride, Wrath, and Sloth. Upon returning to his life, his power over greed allowed the man to turn anything he touched long enough into solid gold, which allowed him to build and furnish an underground sanctuary deep beneath the city from whence he came. Sencarn knew this wasn't the end of his journey and searched for the true purpose of his power, only to find himself disgusted by the people he once aided and supported. Needless to say, his personality had changed. He found a purpose reaping their sins, only to discover he had an even greater calling when he happened upon a very old friend of his by the name of Gus. As it turned out, Gus had become a very accomplished murderer and overall sketchy figure, but the incarnation of sin was unable to bring himself to kill what was once dearer to him than a brother. That didn't stop him from knocking some sense into Gus, though. After a one-sided stomp spar, Sencarn asked that Gus join him underground in a cause without a purpose. Gus suggested that Sencarn look into the RHG system, which leads us to where we are now. The two recruits Gus wanted ended up being Giselle and Gramps, followed by Winston. Aaaaand now you're all caught up to speed on the history.
As for the mission of Sanctuary, its core purpose for the people is to offer a home away from home to all who seek it, though the more dedicated member's seek to shed light on the corruption within the RHG system and bring the entire structure down. They see the slavelike system as little more than mere entertainment for the masses and puppetmasters pulling the strings, and intend to do away with the entire system in favor of world where you aren't awarded "brownie points" and petty cash for the slaughter of others.
Sanctuary's home base is a massive unde
rground castle/military base featuring multiple master bedrooms, a large banquet hall, training/spar rooms, outfitted kitchens, toilets(of course), armory, library and etc. It may seem like a lot, but when you offer up a boulder's worth of gold, you'd be surprised how quick people are to give things away. The entire base is funded by Sencarn.
The main entrance to Sanctuary exists in the center of a secluded forest just out of the way of your character's main location(Vague City for some, Sierra Pines for others). However, there are additional hidden entrances scattered throughout the world and what lies behind each door is the essentially the same narrow, extended, stone stairwell that leads newcomers to the Sanctuary's Library.
The Library is the main area of the base, occupied by various tables and chairs and books scattered throughout the room. The bookshelves that line the walls are all completely stocked with knowledgeable tales, tomes, and recordings. Some tables even have computers at them but decent reception and internet connection are noticeably absent in the underground lair. Connected to the library are three other main rooms: The Dining Hall, the Training/Spar Rooms, and the Living Quarters.
Straight through the library at the ce
nter of Sanctuary's base is the Dining Hall. Though the base is practically devoid of members, Sencarn plans to host social events every now and again to bolster the clan's reputation. Here in the dining hall you will find elongated tables and chairs of classic fashion. Adorning the walls and the edges of the room you will find prime decor and artistry from many different eras, though not too far between. This room is connected to three sub rooms and one main room(Library): The Library(South), The Kitchen(West), Miscellaneous Storage(East), and Sencarn's Study(North). Most of Sanctuary's members just eat off-site or in their rooms.
To the South of the Dining Hall is the Library(covered above).
To the East is the Kitchen. Though stocked, clean, and ready for use, the facility is hardly as lively as it could be. Everything has a pristine, white finish and there are several stoves/ovens/tabletops/Etc. available for use at all hours of the day. Fairly small compared to other rooms.
To the West is the Miscellaneous Storage room. It's literally just a big, empty, cold space of concrete that Sencarn is saving for any large pickups/cargo/renovation. Great for echoes and games of tag, should one desire to play. Size is second only to the Library. Connects to Gus' Laboratory.
To the North is Sencarn's Study, the smallest of the rooms. Within you'll find copies of all Sanctuary's ACR targets, his living quarters(unfavorably messy), and other documents. Not off limits, but he doesn't enjoy people loitering there. End of the line.

The Training/Spar Rooms are 3 connecte
d dojos reinforced and outfitted to withstand the fiercest duels. While all of Sanctuary has been built to resist cave-ins, the spar rooms have been specially crafted to withstand essentially everything from both the inside and outside. Spars can be spectated from the Library. Connected to these interlocking spar rooms are two sub rooms and one main room(Library): The Armory(East), The Library(West), and Gus' Laboratory(North).
To the East of the Sparring Rooms is the Armory, a sub room that acts as both a, well, armory and a museum. This is where Sanctuary keeps any confiscated weaponry, armor, or technology they plan to use, contain, or destroy at a later date. Small area, but intricately designed and laid out. End of the line.
To the West of the Sparring Rooms is the Library(covered above).
To the North of the Sparring Rooms is Gus' Laboratory. A decently sized area where Gus spends most of his time, you'll find various viles, vats, and even a few caged experiments out and about on a good day. He doesn't have a bed in the room, but sleeps there most of the time regardless. Connects and is located between the Spar Rooms as well as the Miscellaneous Storage area

The Living Quarters are a series of ha
llways lined with restrooms, one or two med-bays, and a good amount of master bedrooms well-tended and overseen by Gramps. The theme here is similar to that of the Library and Dining Hall areas, but members of Sanctuary are encouraged to decorate their rooms to their liking. These hallways lead to two sub rooms and one main room(Library): The Kitchen(North), the Holding Area(East), and the Library(West).
To the North of the Living Quarters is the Kitchen(covered above).
To the East of the Living Quarters is the Holding Area. It's a fairly small area but hosts a number of decent rooms that Captured and Contained ACR targets are held in until further notice. Prisoners are fed, cared for, and allowed restricted freedoms. End of the line.
To the West of the Living Quarters is the Library(covered above).

Relatives: Unknown
Age: 18
Short Bio:
Born a normal person with an immense heart and compassion, Sencarn was so generous in his living that he eventually saw his own ruin due to his obsessive helping of others. It was at his lowest, however, that a voice reached out to Sencarn, guiding him on a path that eventually led him to obtain power over the Seven Sins. He used these powers to reap the evil from people and vice versa, but now is much more concerned with freeing gladiators from the barbaric RHG system.
Abilities:
Taking on the form of a Golden Monocle
, Sencarn can use this item to instantly obtain knowledge of a person's whereabouts, speak to them from wherever he may be, and even teleport to them when out of combat.
Taking on the form form of a Golden C
lawed Gauntlet, Sencarn can use this item for close range combat as well as utilizing the gloves "Midas Touch" ability, which slowly turns anything he touches long enough into solid gold.
Taking on the form of a Golden Spear,
Sencarn can use this item in combat. The spear is special in the sense that it's puncturing power is multiplied based on the strength Sencarn uses. For instance, a thrust strong enough to puncture wood will puncture metal.

Under Development. Be back soon.
Taking on the form of a Golden Flintlo
ck Pistol, Sencarn can utilize this item to deliver a powerful blast of golden dust to anyone he wishes, blasting them back and infecting them with the Incarnation of Greed's "Midas Touch", which slowly spreads from wherever the victim was hit and eventually encase them in a layer of gold. The force of the blast is strong enough to throw a man back a decent distance and, though typically non-lethal, is capable of breaking bones at close enough distances(point blank being the only potentially lethal range).
At any point, Sencarn's pistol can absorb and devour the gold spreading on a Victim's body, curing them and drawing in the dust to bolster its next shot. The more dust collected, the more powerful and linear the next shot becomes. When the gun is filled, it will no longer be able to remove the gold from an afflicted person and the next shot will be powerful enough to leave a clean hole through even the most durable of metals.

Under development. Be back later.
Taking on the form of a Golden Tower Sh
ield, Sencarn cannot move or maneuver while holding this item. His entire body is weighed down as it is naturally strapped to his arm, however the shield cannot be penetrated so... yeah.

Appearance:
Sencarn's eyes were once a maroon color, however due to his collecting of sin, his eyes become slightly lighter with each sin collected. His hair is a long, unkempt wild brown, and the way he dresses is very lazy. We're talking sweatpants, jacket, torn jeans, etc. Sencarn's race is unknown, though he is presumed to be Dominican.
Personality:
Despite his appearance, Sencarn is a relatively serious person with a refined voice and tone. While he once did love love all man's flaws, he is now more disgusted by sin and injustice than ever. He still cares for and attempts to see the good in people, but not before he separates it from the bad.

Short Bio:
Gus grew up in the same city as Sencarn, on the same street, actually. The two weren't necessarily the best of friends at first, but Gus looked out for Sencarn due to the younger boy's tendency to be swindled out of his belongings. Gus was like a big brother to Sencarn, and the two eventually grew close. Sencarn one day went missing, and though Gus and the boy's family searched frantically, he never turned back up. In the absence of Sencarn's voice of reason, Gus allowed his fascination with dissecting things get out of hand. Eventually, some rather morbid stuff happened and Gus had pretty much became a horror story for all in the city to fear. His obsessions with science, anatomy, and death lead him on a path of good ol' serial killin', until he was con
