Don't Forget.. (Click to Show)
He knew what was coming, The planet’s land was slowly turning into desert. The 1,000-year war was ending, Yet another war was going to start. Ethernu heard that there was an uprising, a rebellion to free the universe of the Grand Monarchy’s control. He never actually understood why some galaxies were rebelling against the Grand Monarchy. The Grand Monarchy truly did possess the universe, but it has kept the universe at peace for many millenniums. Now, it seemed like the world was thrown into chaos and discord. Right now, his home, Darmania was on the verge of being controlled by the rebellion. A few months earlier, he had been drafted into the Grand Monarchy’s Army. He was ready to help bring peace to the universe again. He was saddened he had to leave his family behind to the desertifying planet. “Now Laydon” He began “I trust you with my old copper short sword, you’ll protect your mother, your siblings, and yourself. Understood?” Tears streamed from his son’s face as he handed the blade to Laydon. “Daddy?” Laydon asked,
“Yes, son?” Ethernu replied slowly,
“You won’t forget us, will you?”
Ethernu started crying as he hugged Laydon tightly, “No son, I won’t forget, I won’t.”
"Don't forget, daddy."
“Son, you are a real man now, you learned how to use chi and mana. You have learned how to fight with a blade and how to fire Joy.”
“Son, as a farewell gift, I will give you my Bymither,” Ethernu said
“But that’s your favorite instrument dad.”
There was a long pause, then Ethernu replied, “Son, don’t forget me either.”
Laydon clutched the ocarina-like instrument and tearfully stared at his father as his father began to walk to the starships.
“Take good care.” His wife Catherine said,
“I will.”
Ethernu looked at his family and home one last time. He may never see his home planet Darmania again.
Ethernu and his fleet battled the enemy fleet. He was the only survivor and crash landed on a world similar to Darmania. The only difference was it was not entirely desert yet. The planet was called Earth. He was unconious for 5 hours. When he recovered, he lost a huge fragment of his memory, He only remembered how to fight and use the Morph Blade. He remembered all his survival instinct. And he remembered one phrase, but could not quite understand its meaning: “Don’t forget...”
