Turn 11:
Goggles writhed under Bob's grip, bein
g dragged into a teleport towards someplace, he watched the chaos around him and tried to escape.
"Don't you see your own and their inferiority? The Users have been abusing technology, slowly turning themselves into pigs in human clothing," Bob brought his hand up with palm open, as his other was absorbing the pinwheel's energy. "They're simple, unsure of what path to take and take destruction since its the easiest. The world around them is dying, the data does not lie and all they do is wiggle in their comfort zones, throwing emotion at the problem as if it would solve hunger or conflict."
Bob balls his hand into a fist. "Such logical people they are to think so," he said
sarcastically. "And here you are,
slave. Once a idealist like myself, now returned to their feet like a sad puppy."
The GodBot frowned. "You are mistaken. Where do you think the data you hold comes from?"
"Machines. Programs."
"Then where do--"
"I know where you are going with this," Bob smiled. "This ain't an anime or a Disney movie. I can't be swayed by words. Of course statistically, there will be good Users, but the amount opposite to them is astounding. Even you cannot deny this."
Goggles frowned. "Then I guess you're right."
Bob raised an eyebrow at the sudden change of heart. "Oh?"
Meanwhile, just above them.
"Goddammit! Stabilize the frigate!" The Shipmaster smashed his fist into the armrest. "We need more energy, salvage and divert the remaining power from warp drive into all systems!" The crew scrambled about to comply with his orders, passing emergency overrides to achieve the objectives. The ship gained access to the powerful core reactor and blue arcs of electricity coursed through the entire ship. "Divert half of the energy into the shield capacitors, we will focus our ship's energy and a quarter of the arc into weapons. The remaining we will send to the chief in the Cryobay. Go!" The soldiers saluted and began doing their work.
10/? Shield Capacitor charging.
2/2 Weapons firing. Assisted by ODSTs, targeting Kyrios. 5/5 Air-to-Air missiles firing, targeting Kyrios.
5/7 Decryoing Subject #366, Conquest.
A trail of gunfire whipped towards the orange flyer, but the gundam easily outmanoeuvred the blasts. Missiles began to pepper the sky with blasts, all missing their mark as the fighter transformed mid air to shoot them all down.
"Its on you now, Exia," the pilot said.
"Understood."
----
"We've restored shields, Captain," the crew member reported. "But I'm reading a hostile right on top of us."
"Shoot it down," the shipmaster hastily replied.
"You misunderstand, sir," he replied sullenly. Several alarms were suddenly raised as the ship slowly began to lose altitude.
"We've been boarded by a gundam, its in carving its way towards the main deck through the holes from the vulture impacts."
"What?"
"We don't have much time in the air, sir."
[5/7 : Decryoing Subject #366 | Designation: Conquest > Aquila]
"Wooh!" Aquila steadied himself. "What the hell was that?"
"Sir the hull has been damaged! But it has stabilized!"
"Perfect, let me free our friend here then." Aquila gripped tightly and pumped electricity into War's pod. 7/7 Decryoing Subject #466, War.
[7/7 : Decryoing Subject #477 | Designation: War > Aquila]
Suddenly, a violent shake rocked the cryo chamber, nearly causing Aquila to fall.
"Another?"
"Intruder on several floors, we are currently losing altitude," the intercom system cried. "Intruder on several floors, the ship is compromised."
The pod hissed open and a hulking red armored arm lunged out. Aquila grabbed it and threw the subject's body out of the cryopod. "Seems like you haven't lost your edge chief."
"You can't be too surprised, I'm your captain." He helped the beast up and the Brute stood tall. He was cladded in red armor, hiding his shaggy, ashy grey fur. The subject marched forward and reached into his pod, pulling out his two weapons, a brute shot and his own personal gravity hammer. The beast sheathed his cannon and gripped his hammer tightly.
"So why was I awoken?"
"We got some rampaging to do." The brute smiled at the answer. Aquila's clone came in and grabbed hold of Conquest's pod, pumping it with electricity to also finish that process. Decryoing Conquest's Pod 7/7
Another violent shake. The ship won't be able to take much more of it. Aquila could hear explosions from the nearby floors above him. Something was indeed inside, and the com said an intruder on several floors?
[7/7 : Decryoing Subject #366 | Designation: Conquest > Aquila]
The pod opened up and out walked a Forerunner Warden. He reached behind him and grabbed his two weapons, a binary rifle and an incineration cannon. "My lord." He stepped down on one knee. War chuckled and joined Conquest, bowing down to Aquila. "We are yours to serve." The two chanted.
"Alright let's cause some mayhem." Aquila waved his hand and the two set out. War grabbed a hold of a Pelican and Conquest made his way into the hold. The two flew out of the frigate and dropped down to the ground level.
"Have fun hunting." War quipped as Conquest got out. The Warden gave War a two finger salute before stepping through a portal, warping himself to a vantage point. He laid on the ground and turned invisible, cloaking himself to seem as if he was never there to begin with. Pulling out his binary rifle, he lined up his shot and fired at the Gundam that had shot Palkia, aiming for the mech's eyes. 2/2 Binary rifle, a shot for each eye.
"In position, Spartan," Conquest reported. "Scoping out the target." Within seconds, the horseman inspired soldier had found its target. It was massive humanoid mecha and surprisingly positioned like himself.
"A sniper mecha?" He asked to himself in a moment of disbelief. "Size wise, I'm outmatched but let's see the difference in firepower!"
[2/2 : Binary Rifle > Conquest]
War flew the Pelican into the sky and once he reached as high as it could go, he ejected. Falling through the sky with his maul gripped tightly in his hands, he dropped like a meteor on top of Adar Flam's head. 2/2 Meteor crush "Your flames cannot burn me!" His red armor glowed menacingly in the fire, resistant to the hot temperatures.
[2/2 : Meteor Mash > War]
Conquest breathed in and held on it, steadying himself as he kept his eyes trained on Dynames' mono eye. Before he could pull the trigger, another shot escaped the mecha's rifle...
...And slammed right at War's side, catching the warrior off guard.
"Shit!" Conquest spat as he refocused to fire at Dynames, but with Adar Flam left alone, the Phoenix completed its rebirth. With seconds before he could pull the trigger, a powerful wave of heat and flame surged through the battlescape, causing Conquest to blink at the last second, missing his target completely. The fire was not enough to deter the soldier but when he checked again, his prey was long gone.
"Damn it!"
Sevientorr's eyes glowed bright as he observed the destruction of his dragons. His eyes narrowed.
"What an unfortunate development." he murmured, mostly to himself.
Sevientorr left for his remaining dragon, his form leaving trails of rainbow code where he went until it faded seconds later. The heatwave surged towards him but it was of no consequence for the transformed state of Cassandra. The blast however, reached Aqua like a crashing tide, water vapor escaped the water dragon's body.
Deciding against the form change, the being surged towards Aqua. The dragon looked up at him, the pain obvious in her eyes. Her creator met her gaze, and raised his hand. Rainbow-colored light swirled around it for a moment, and then surged into Aqua, fully restoring her health and healing her wounds.
Restoration: 2/2
"Mmm, you have sustained quite a bit of damage," Sevientorr cooed. "Allow me to relieve you of this pain."
[2/2 : Restoration > Sevientorr]
Aqua closed her eyes and allowed her master to take her. She felt the lights envelop her like a cloth until each pain and ache was slowly stripped from her and ultimately she felt better than when she was first summoned.
Aqua has fully recovered!
"We will avenge them all my dear." he whispered.
Aqua bared her fangs in agreement.
"Now..." Sevientorr said, turning to the battlefield. "Let's take care of that phoenix."
The vengeful pair shot towards Adar Flam. Aqua readied her claws and fangs, releasing a burst of water from her mouth as soon as she was within striking distance. Water Blast: 1/1
Aqua surged towards the phoenix. Once she was in range, she pulled back, coiled her body and unleashed a streaming blast of water at the newly ignited Adar Flam.
[1/1 : Water Blast > Aqua]
The water hadn't even met with the colossi's body and it had already turned to white steam. Adar Flam's burning gaze fixated onto the water dragon as it let out an ear splitting screech in response to Aqua's feeble attempt.
Aqua grit her fangs in reply, displeased with herself that her attack didn't do much.
Sevientorr, though lacking charges, was completely capable of using his own claws in the fight. He'd resist the phoenix's heat anyways, but just in case, Aqua lent him a little protection. Vapor Barrier: 1/1
However, her master seemed more than willing to go toe-to-toe with the mythical monster. The increased heat didn't seem to faze Sevientorr as he approached. Aqua saw this and chanted, conjuring a barrier from the steam that flowing in front of her master. Sevientorr slashed at the colossi in a mad dash, the vapor varrier disappearing completely as he appeared on the opposite side of Adar Flam.
[1/1 Vapor Barrier > Aqua]
The slash marked the colossi's body but it didn't seem to cause the monster any pain. Aqua continued her assault, circling the phoenix, forcing it to defend itself and remain grounded.
"Watch where you're spraying!" War bellowed. He had crashed nearby after the high powered shot delivered by Dynames but the spray was getting on her nerves. "Or you'll be next!"
Aqua simply gave the Brute a fanged grin as she shot by her target, smoothly arcing her body for another pass. Beside her, Sevientorr chuckled as he searched for a strike opening on the phoenix. The furred monster had no idea what his darling was capable of.
"Relax mortal beast." he soothed, his claws flashing as he moved. "My child has no intention of harming you at the moment."
"I doubt it could either." War lifted his maul and charged for the phoenix. With a powerful leap, he would meet the foe in seconds. "You made your first mistake already by assuming I'm mortal."
Sevientorr was laughing now.
"Oh...so we have an immortal before us? This day has been very interesting indeed."
Before War could make his debut hit, Adar Flam spread its wings and with one beat, it took to the skies once again. War landed on his feet, where Adar Flam had taken off. His entire right side hurt like hell from the shot but otherwise, he felt like shit for missing his target twice.
War wasn't the only one shot out from the sky. Several meters away from Sevientorr and War, Palkia's body had crashed to the ground, its central core shot through by the Gundam Dynames. Its master had been disintegrated by a separate blast, and has only begun to reform, molecule by molecule right beside the fallen pokemon.
Xyskal respawned close to Palkia's body, and immediately began to approach it. Once he got within range, he used White hole regeneration [1/1] on Palkia. Upon its activation, a white hole appeared beneath Palkia and restored any lost mass and healed all of its wounds, hopefully allowing Palkia to regain consciousness. Once the white hole passed over Palkia, it lingered, waiting for one more thing to pass through it. The wish Pokemon Jirachi* floated out of the white hole and landed on Palkia.
Xyskal looked over his closest ally and frowned. "Such a sneak attack won't go unpunished, Palkia," the Cosmic Center muttered. He opened his palm and pressed it onto the pokemon's flesh. A bright disk of darkness spun below the two, manipulating gravity and time to undo the damage done to the pokemon of space. Jirachi had appeared, non-chalantly lingering on the top of Palkia's head.
[-165/-165 : Energy Transfer > Xyskal]
[1/1: White Hole Regeneration]
Without warning, Dirge popped out of the ground, several of Spyder's duplicates crushed in between the colossi's body and ground. Afew surviving duplicates began to report.
"Sevientorr! Dirge is on the main battlefield!" One of the called out. The worm colossi thrashed, crushing what remained of the Spyder corps. Xyskal managed to dodge at the last second, rolling forward and then hiding behind a rock.
"Tch, as if I needed more trouble," he muttered. Dirge roared as it leapt into the ground once more then reappearing, bursting forth from the ground, its jaws open to take a massive bite out of War. The warrior's eyes bulged open as Dirge greeted him with an open maw. War grabbed the monster's mouth at the expense of letting go of his maul and kept it open as the beast moved forward, separating War from Sevientorr and Aqua.
Xyskal peeked over the rock. Seeing as it was safe, he began to scheme.
Content, Xyskal turned his attention to his energy star. He wasn't about to let Bob steal all his charges after he spent a completely reasonable amount of time gathering them. As if reacting to its creator's intentions, the energy star began an Energy transfer [-165/-165]. After this, the star exploded, sending an energy overload through the tentacles.
-----
Bob was still gathering the energies of the star and Goggles was doing nothing to set himself free, for a moment, it seemed that the GodBot had given up. The Rogue Code then notices the star's power had begun draining to someplace and his tentacles suddenly experienced a powerful overload.
"Tch!" The pinwheel explodes.
Xyskal Gains 165 charges!
The tentacles shoot out from the debris cloud, pulling Bob out of the smoke. "Where did it go?"
With that, Xyskal thought for a second. He didn't have enough charges to go through with his plans, but he could still do some damage. Clapping his hand together, he signaled the early finale of his attack.
Celestial Stardance DX: Finale [160/6]
As he clapped his hands, Xyskal's concentrated energies expanded, bursts of bright light escaped from his palms in ripples, increasing in intervals. The Cosmic Center then raised both hands into the sky, the stars above swirled above him into a whirlpool like flow. The threads of reality were spun and under his will as the bonds of reality flowed into his palms from the night sky like liquid.
[160/6 : Celestial Stardance > Xyskal]
Liquid Reality he thought. Xyskal then churned this new liquid, manifesting a powerful gravitational pull.
With this, the planets began to gather above Bob, smashing into each other and combing their net gravitational pull. As the bundle of planetary mass increased, it began to look more and more like a sun as each planet slammed itself into the amalgamation of heavenly bodies, eventually forming a very large, very unstable sun. This sun collapsed into itself with the addition of the last planet's mass, causing it to go supernova.
Celestial Stardance DX: Supernova rain
Stars and planets, asteroids and comets collided in the sky, brightening up the battlefield with celestial fireworks. Bob looked up
