So I recently started getting into this program called Synfig. I decided to use this program in place of 7-day Adobe Illustrator CC trials.
However, when I opened up the program's help wiki, most of the documentation refers to an older version of the program. I'd prefer video tutorials of this stuff, and the only thing they have at the moment is a pay-to-learn online course that teaches you some of how to get started in Synfig.
Does anyone know of a really good source of Synfig tutorials?
I'm looking for Synfig tutorials...

I doubt anyone here has ever heard of that program. Have you tried google and youtube?

Yes I've looked over Google and Youtube, but I'm not sure if the tutorials are current enough to be beneficial.
I guess it's back to Pivot for me... (unless I can figure out a way to harness that Flipnote program on my 3DS...)

I remember when I was looking into synfig a while back I ran into this:

Honestly it should still be relevant considering that programs don't really change that much in the span of a few years, and if it did then there would be far more recent tutorials.

Well...I have Adobe Animate CC, but I froze it with a software program so that its trial doesn't expire. This sounds great at first, but it just means I won't get updates and stuff. I also don't know how to reset the trial after I've used it up once. Adobe Creative Cloud is such a hassle.
Oh, and why do I not buy it? BECAUSE I'M BROKE (and my parents won't let me). :(
Also, even if I do have the program, I'm not sure if I'd be able to dedicate enough time to my animations. I'd probably (realistically) only get at least half an hour to an hour to animate every day.
I can work late into the night on my 3DS on Flipnote studio...but it's just not the same. I was thinking of doing my animations on my DS, and then putting their GIFs onto my computer and editing them in some software program to make them look nicer.
