Perseus Hector Ford as...
WILDER

Abilities:
Wilder is trained as a master marksman, He can throw or shoot anything with exceptional accuracy. His weapon of choice: A specially made deck of playing cards.

He's plagued by perfect memory, meaning that he'll remember anything he sees until the day he dies. With this, he taught himself several different types of fighting styles simply by watching movies and videos on them. As it is now, he is a master at hand to hand combat.

A technological genius. With his perfect memory, he's taught himself everything there is to know about different kinds of tech, using this knowledge to beef up his own arsenal and to know how to properly deal with others who use it.

He is incredibly resourceful, and can use pretty much anything he can find as a weapon, as well as being able to add extra properties very quickly.

He has a knack for being able to quickly adapt to his environment, and as such is very good at manipulating the things around him.

When it comes to specific situations, Wilder is able to change what he has to better suit the situation(See Wilder v. Levi as an example). This usually comes in the form of combining the cards he already has, or trying to steal from his opponents to create brand new cards.

His deck of cards include a few different types of cards.
Specific Cards (Click to Show)

A three-foot long pipe of hardened steel is now hidden in Wilder's coat, alongside two simple, silenced pistols.

The pipe, aptly named Diamond's Pipe, is tipped off at both ends with thick metal, painted red. Wilder uses it mostly for utility or bashing-type attacks.

Both pistols are very simple, with nothing extremely special about them aside from having suppressors screwed onto their barrels. Each holds twelve bullets in one magazine, and Wilder keeps four magazines tucked inside his coat.

Weaknesses:
Has a finite pool of resources. He doesn't have infinite cards, and even his own knowledge can be bested.

Tends to be over confident in his abilities, as he assumes other people can't hold their own against him. As such, he will constantly underestimate his opponents.

While he's resourceful, put him in a spot where he's out of his element and he'll be at a huge disadvantage. He's not used to special types of technology, and as such will need a bit of time to understand them.

His knowledge of fighting is shallow. He knows a lot, but there are still some things that even he doesn't know, and as such, will not be able to counter them properly.

The more different kinds of cards he creates, the more shallow his reservoir will be. He can, if used carelessly, run out of damaging cards and be left only with utility.

Diamond's Pipe can be broken with enough force, though it can also send Wilder into a rage.

He has limited ammo for his guns, and will try to conserve it when he needs to.

Personality:
Doesn't talk much at the start of a fight, as he usually spends the time calculating strategies, but if he feels like he has the upper hand in a fight, he'll start to get cocky and will taunt his opponent from the shadows, or in their face. Kind of a dick sometimes, honestly.

Outside of a fight, he's more of a laid back kinda guy. He doesn't take things too seriously, but he's really defensive about what he talks about and who he talks to about it. With other people, he's got a bit of a superiority complex. He wouldn't outwardly say he's 100% better than someone, unless he's joking about it, but it's implied heavily on people who he doesn't like much. In a positive or neutral light, though, he's just laid back.

Recently, with the loss of his friend and trainee, Diamond, he's much more ruthless than before. He won't waste time talking, and will be much more inclined to kill than he would've been before. Without the knowledge of whether or not Diamond is alive, he doesn't care what happens to his opponents, and is way less caring when it comes to his actions and the way it affects the people around him(This change is temporary, as solo stories will determine whether or not this ruthlessness stays.).

Now armed with pistols, Wilder will prioritize those over his cards when it comes to a straight-up fight. If stealth is needed, he resorts back to his cards.

Appearance:
Old Costume (Click to Show)

After Chapter 7, and during and after Chapter 8, Wilder's costume has been updated. His body is the same, though everywhere there's purple, there are thin red highlights alongside it, resembling Diamond's costume. His mask has changed completely. Instead of it stopping just above his mouth, it extends down to his chin, stopping at a sharp point. It's strapped behind his head, above his ears, and his Horned Space sigil is pasted over the left eye, same as the last mask. This sigil, however, is completely red and without detail. It's still completely white, and on the forehead of the mask, two horns jut out above each eye. They aren't very long, but they're thick and curved upward, pointing toward the sky, resembling Oni horns.

Overall, I'm rather impressed with this. I do have to ask, however, what these special playing cards are made from, and what the maximum speed he can throw them with is.

So, first, WELCOME!

Secondly, I would like to say that several of the senior writers here have read at least part of your profile, and we generally think it's pretty good!

We look forward to seeing your growth here.

The only thing I would note at this point would be to watch your formatting...the Demo is a bit hard to read due to improper spacing. Otherwise, Great Job!

Best of Wishes, dude/dudette.

Nice wRHG man, gives me impressions of Taskmaster mixed with Bullseye from Marvel. Very cool. Mixing the Photographic Reflexes of Taskmaster, the ability to use anything as a projectile of Bullseye and the accuracy of Hawkeye? Truly a frightening idea.

Watch yourself. My wRHG Levi may challenge you soon.

Very interesting. Quick question:

I might have missed it, but what makes his throwing cards so special? Are they made out of something different than normal cards or what up?

Other than that I'm interested to see how this character will turn out!

Oh, I forgot to put that in. Firstly though, I do appreciate all the exposure, it happened a lot faster than I assumed it would.

Secondly, there are a couple things wrong with the demo because I was rushed to write it, and I got distracted a lot, heh. But, his throwing cards. The kit that he uses are specially made, though they aren't too different from regular cards. I based them on real throwing cards called Banshees, they're regular, but they're cut a certain way that makes them whistle when you throw them. I like to think that to give all of them tech, they're two cards fused together with very thin wiring in between them. I hope that explains it.

Very cool bro, I like him. He'll make a great addition to the wRHG community.

Also, if you want to get a battle in soon enough, I'd be more than willing to do one with you.

Thanks for the feedback, really makes me feel welcome and at home already. As for that battle, maybe soon. I've got some practice things I wanted to write out beforehand.

I knew I shoulda listened to my future senses about this, but if someone with under 20(?) posts edits a post, it has to be approved. Graesus just has to PM Azure or Acute or someone.

We may as well throw that on the guidelines, there typically is some confusion surrounding that

Ohhh, okay, I didn't know that. The post had disappeared for me too, but I just assumed it was my bad laptop. I'll do something about this right away, thank you.

Fixed it for ya, and that rule only applies if there are links in the thread, such as, you guessed it, the picture.

Ohh, okay. I'll make sure to be more cautious of that. Thank you for fixing the page, Azure, I appreciate it.

No problem, and after you post a bit more, it won't even be a concern. It's just a way to help keep spambots from posting a ton of visible links. After 20 posts, if they're a spambot, they're essentially human trash already.

Well it's a pretty decent defense. I plan on being a lot more active here, so after some time, It won't even be an issue.
