Elyss and Mano both saw the same horrible sight.

A hulking monster, taller than a few of the buildings around it stomping deliberately towards the party. The titanic beast's shoulders occasionally smashing through the complexes around it as if the concrete structures didn't exist.

It was a behemoth, greater than any before it. The horrible monster had dense clergy bone growing over its entire body, giving it a natural armor.

The apex of behemoth strength and clergy innovation, Eta.

Mano whistles. "Wow. That's a pretty big monster. Don't wanna get in the way of that." He thinks. "Huh. Judging by how crazy those people are, they're probably gonna try to kill it. I should really get to finding them before they throw their lives away."

After dealing with the first Rake, Orwell prepared the mini gun to deal with the others, however something spooked them off. Debris began falling and heavy tremors began shaking the mech. His motion sensor blared and a camera turned to see a tank crash into a building. A heavily armored vehicle easily twice the size of the mech itself. Another blip appeared on the radar, however this one didn't blaze past, instead it was steadily moving forward, closer to them. "As you may be aware, there is a very large creature those tremors belong to. Those tremors are also coming closer to this location, so I advise we retreat." Orwell's camera turned to look at Sebastian. "Is there any safe location where we can hide, away from this thing's senses?"

Moving on to the next Rake, Leo rammed his sword through it's torso and sliced it in half. "And the son of a bitch had the nerve to tes--"

Leo stopped mid-sentence when he felt the shaking of the earth. A tank went flying into a building, and Leo ducked to avoid spraying debris. He felt his heart rate increase. For the first time since his father died, he was scared. Of course, he couldn't let the others know that. Probably the only people here who could take the approaching behemoth was Nikolai and Sebastian. So retreating didn't seem like a bad idea to Leo.

Mercy was so tunnel-visioned on the approaching Fraysa, that she didn't even pay any attention to the first quake. Sure she felt it, but assumed that maybe something collapsed in the distance, the city was in ruin after all. It was the second quake that made her realize that something is wrong. She stopped shooting, slowly lowering her gun, visibly confused, her mad grin fading away.

Third quake.

"Uh-oh...Um...Guys?" The girl kept looking around in consternation...and then the tank happened. In the reaction for sudden impact and debris flying everywhere, Mercy just curled up, covering her upper body with her arms and a leg, standing on the other one like some really weird flamingo. She remained in that position for a moment, until it was over, then opened her eyes to take a peek through the space between her arms. "Was that...a tank flying by?!" She slowly put her leg down and looked towards the destroyed building. "...It- Holy..." It was a tank indeed, but that wasn't the worst part. The forth quake announced the arrival of something big...no, huge... Not even. A giant monstrosity emerged from between the buildings, towering above some. How in the all that is good they didn't hear or notice this thing before? Mercy just stared at it in astonishment before she was able to speak up again. "So uh...This is the part where we leg it, correct?"

It was around this time that Mano noticed the group. "There you all are! Awesome!" He starts jogging across the sky towards them, trying to draw their attention.

"Oh Master Mano." Orwell's camera turned. "How good of you to join us. Though this isn't the best time to simply sit around and catch up with what took you so long. We best be off. Master Sebastian if you could please? As Miss Mercy put it, this is the part where we should best leg it."

Sebastian stepped back at the sight of Eta. "Yeah... This is where we leg it."

Another thunderous step towards them.

"I just get here and we're already leaving? Ugh, fine, but I can probably help us get going a lot faster."

Elyss halted her song at the sight of the massive beast. She stepped back and marveled at the ingenuity of it. She recalled a contract between Hura and the Lord of Behemoths but she didn't expect the result of it to ever come to fruition.

She breathed heavily as she sensed her allies heart race the same as hers. Everyone shared the same sentiment. They had to run. "I agree," she said without hesitation. "We must retreat for now."

See, Nikolai Jr's original plan was to fight it off--in his mind, he thought the lot of them could take that gigantic fucking thing all on their own. Even so, he wasn't stupid. He knew for a fact that only him against the behemoth would be nothing but suicide. Considering everyone was scared shitless and wanted to retreat, Nikolai Jr. made the decision for himself. "We'll retreat for now," He called, looking toward an open field. The only contrast to the barren wasteland was a cacophony of water tanks towering high into the sky, "Follow me--I have a plan...again."

Nikolai began to run toward the field, expecting everyone--which included Eta--to follow. Jett, ever the hero, ran after him with haste.

Mano followed along after Nikolai. "Hey, is this gonna take a long time? I've still gotta give you guys things."

Elyss looked over to Nikolai, mixed feelings were brought up when she looked at him but she decided now wasn't the time to be thinking of emotions. She nodded then moved with the rest of the group under the halfer's orders. She decided not to speak yet, she wanted to hear the plan first before deciding which of her songs to play in order to assist.

The Obelisk turned heel and followed behind. "Master Edward if it is required for you to hide outside of my body, please be ready."

Edward shook his head, "I'm not leaving you."

"Master Edward, right now isn't a time to be difficult, please respect my wishes to keep you safe." Edward huffed and stayed silent and the robot sighed. "Please Master Edward, promise you will keep yourself safe."

"I'm not leaving you." The boy answered and then went silent, no longer answering Orwell.

Leo trusted Nikolai only because he was the only one here (besides Sebastian but he didn't like him and he was petty like that) that had experience with Fraysans (besides Elyss). So if Nikolai told him to jump, he'd jump. Leo followed him without hesitation. "I hope it's better than the plan you had back at the bar."
