Elyss kept moving and then when she saw most of her allies were out of the crumbling ruins, she faced deathless behemoth. She watched its tentacles writhe from underneath the rubble and she stepped back. She swept her hand forward and ended her song, the overhead wall dissipated immediately without a sound.
"I suggest we retreat," Elyss yelled. "I doubt we can put it down permanently with the negligible amount of information we have on them."
She looked to her allies, waiting for their responses. If they wanted to fight, she'd back them up but for now, she felt retreating was their best bet at survival.

Isabelle was right behind Elyss as they ran out of the fortress. The mage took a moment to catch more than just her breath. "Miss Elyss, it would appear that this is one of the creatures from that book Edward had. I'd say the odds of killing it with one more attack are the same as it reviving itself afterwards. I agree that it may be more prudent to gather more information on these creatures before we attempt to take them on in combat." Isabelle tried to hide the crystallized texture on her face as well as her silver eye with her hand. The crystallization was just a temporary side effect from exerting massive amounts of energy, and would be gone before the exerted energy is recovered.

He looked at the beast. "It appears to be a broodling similar to the first we met, so that may suggest that this one is also capable of disintegrating things, however as it did not kill Master Horace in such a fashion, perhaps my previous speculation that they do not have multiple powers is more valid. However that is not something that I want to place my hope in completely. So retreating would be the most logical solution." Orwell agreed. "We do not possess the equipment capable of holding the beast down for any long duration of time. It is wrestling out of the only prison we were capable of creating unless you can create another roof to drop upon it Madam Isabelle, or a more secure trap." He held his heavy rifle. "However I am not operating optimally due to my lack of firepower so if Master Edward was given enough time to repair me then I would be more willing to join you in this 'gathering of information.' "

Mercy ran out of the building, slightly stumbling at the end. Interestingly enough, even after such sprint her breath was still relatively steady, and she didn't show any other signs of recent physical activity. Turning around, seeing the monster barely 'trapped' under the pile of rubble, the girl smashed the ground with her open palm. Corruption spread in front of her, quickly covering the debris as well. The goal of it was to connect, weld and fortify all these rocks repeatedly, hopefully slowing down the monster's escape from underneath. Mercy's energy would most certainly affect the Izardale as well, but with such abilities to regenerate as it possessed, she had no high hopes of it doing anything besides further decelerating its movements.
"So...I still think running would be a better idea but uh...just theoretically speaking, how much time would you need?"

"10 seconds, give or take a few. It is a simple joint repair." The porthole opened and Edward crawled out, a faint blue aura swirling around him. squatting down on the Obelisk as Orwell positioned the heavy rifle back in place. The boy put his hands upon the Obelisk and its arm, thr blue energy pulling back to allow him to touch them, and green electricity clashed, connecting to each other as they sewed the two together. Wires attached back together, metal melded and held the arm in place as he worked on connecting all the tubes back together. Rejoining the ammo cache and coolant tubes, completely repairing the damage to make it look as if it never happened.

The sound of rending metal filled the air as the creature tore itself free of its constraints. Half of its body was still buried under the rubble as it struggled to get completely free. Meanwhile the outerwall housing the mysterious unexplored hallway suddenly cracked, as if something threw itself against it.

"I'm definitely for running, seems like this place is getting more and more dangerous. We need to find and secure a location that's hard to reach and hard to assault."

Edward finished his repairs and jumped back into the Obelisk. The forcefield peeled back to allow the metal spine through. Orwell examined their location and compared it to the map. "We are in a bowl made of mountains, and there are two tunnels. Both are past the fortress however so we must get past this being and whatever else is coming. Retreating though seems to be our only solution as we are not fitted to fight on, much less two of them. The one north leads to the ocean while northwest there is another tunnel that seems to lead to a large plain of sorts." Orwell pointed the heavy rifle at the Glutton and shot a slug at the thing's head, then fired more, aiming for limbs and other exposed targets. The mini gun spun to life and he pointed it at the cracking wall, planning on firing at whatever broke through.

Nikolai Junior continued to shoot at the beast along with Orwell, providing heavy (explosive) gunfire, "I'm all for running wherever, but the ocean might be the best considering where we're supposed to go is surrounded by some kind of islands, right?" He looked to the rest of the group for confirmation, then turned toward the direction Orwell had mentioned.
"I think we should stop talking about it and just do it," He began to run in a direction away from the beast, "Allow me!"

The group started running towards the north, Nikolai Jr strangely leading them the correct way. Meanwhile the Glutton burst free of its confinements, its body regenerating just as fast as they could damage it. Just before they made it inside the treeline, the wall exploded outwards. A large green lizard-like creature led multiple dog sized monsters.

Elyss raised her hand, waving at everyone to move. "Come on, move!" She yelled as she chased after Nikolai. She brought her hand down slowly as she took in a breath. "Keep your sights clear and watch for your allies! Stay sharp!"
With a quick exhale, she began to sing. [Orthodoxus Prima]
Run boy run! This world is not made for you
Run boy run! They’re trying to catch you
Run boy run! Running is a victory
Run boy run! Beauty lays behind the hills

Leo followed the group, chanting "Fuck, fuck fuck fuck," as he ran behind Nikolai. He took out his pistol, ready to shoot anything that might get in his way.

Edward breathed in, taking control of the Obelisk's guns as it chugged along. He focused on the approaching monsters and began firing. The minigun roared as it sprayed bullets at the smaller creatures while he fired the heavy rifle methodically and carefully at the largest one.

Mano ran, trying to think of ways to help but coming up with none. "Man, this place really sucks, ya know? No wonder the Fraysans preferred Earth."

Isabelle kept by Elyss as the group fled into the forest. She stopped momentarily to turn and face the lizard creature and it's pets as they broke through the building as well. As everyone entered the forest, she pushed her hands in the air as if pushing against an extremely heavy object. She commanded the energy in the ground, and it listened. In seconds the energy in front of her solidified into a wall standing at six feet tall and about thirty feet wide. Breathing heavily, Isabelle took several steps back before commanding more spikes to form on the party's side of the wall. Once the spikes solidified, she turned and ran to catch up to the rest of the group, but was heavily fatigued from exerting so much energy.
