I'm at the point where I've agreed to the terms of the battle, and the terms of the battle have us locked in at the current set of 6 people. I have agreed that should my story not be completed in time for the due date, that I will accept a forfeit. My story will not be completed in time so I'm forfeiting now. Competition is getting slim. But I'm too far into writing now, so I am retaining Chrome's character as per our previous "lock in" rule. I'm sure most would agree to this?

I saw it more as "Get it done on the 31st your own time, and it'll go up the next morning/afternoon"

I haven't even gotten to writing yet! I'm still in town as of today, and almost every day so far has been busy like you wouldn't believe! Still...I think I can pull this off. As of now, I've forgotten the deadline...:p... but I think if I really try I'd be done with my part on Aug.31. (oh wait...the 31st is one of my work days... :()

I mean, considering you said you were out of town for like, two weeks, I personally wouldn't mind if you needed a few more days. Other three might need to weigh in, but ya got a fair reason
