Abilities:

• Lightning Staff - A staff infused with lightning, it can shock opponents and can shoot electric balls like a gun, it is spiritually connected to Mercy, meaning others wouldn't be able to pick it up or use it, at least not without getting shocked.
  
• Strategic - She is particularly good at planning out what she will do in a short amount of time.
  
• Agility - She is a bit agile, but not extremely.
  

Weaknesses:

• Stubbornness - While she is strategic, she can be very very stubborn.
  
• Temper - She can lose her temper if you make her mad, making her attacks be more frantic and well... not strategic.
  
• Energy - Since she is spiritually connected to her staff, the more she uses the electricity of it, the more her energy will deplete.
  

Personality:

• Mostly serious and emotionless, but if you get to know her she will open up.
  
• Usually unbreakable, but hit her in all the right places...
  
• Subtly happy, if she's having fun, or she's feeling confident, she'll probably smile a bit.
  

Story:

• Mercy was born and lived in the Temple village of Non for most of her life, and as a tradition of the village, she was given the Lightning Staff that grew in power as she did. She lived in the village until she was 10 since she was forced to run away. The village was attacked by a group of bandits out to steal the supposed "Treasures" inside of the temple. In fear, Mercy ran away with her staff. The temple was destroyed from the battle, and Mercy was alone. She swore she wouldn't let anyone suffer the way she did.

About your lightning staff, if someone is wearing rubber gloves does that mean they can pick up the staff? Rubber does not conduct electricity well.

More of what I mean is if it's happening right in front of her eyes, if it's already happened, she can't do much about that.

You don't really need a tragic backstory to be in an RHG all you need is skill and determination(no undertale reffs here) :D
