Hey Grim, by chance, are you looking for "boss" type characters, like final stage fighters who are stronger than normal to provide more of a challenge?

Not really. I'm planning to give each character their own story mode, at the end of which they would just fight another one of the characters with harder AI or more HP or something.

So it'll be more like Tekken rather than Street Fighter.

In the context of story mode, yeah. Gameplay, no.

Yeah, I meant in story, not gameplay. Like, you just steadily go through the roster rather than X number of fights leading to facing some super strong final character, like Akuma/Oni, or Marie if you look at Skullgirls.

Just some character suggestions,Andre,Chuck,Oxob and FLLFFL would be fun addtions to the game.

But here's my pitch:

More information on his abilities and weapon is on the Rhg page:http://forums.stickpage.com/showthread.php?94762-RHG-Blur-The-Chronomancer

Check out the demo as well

I'd like for Andre, Oxob, and FLLFFL to be in eventually, but I there's some stuff I'd like to do with the story beforehand, finish a respectable roster so I can make sure I'm good enough to do those characters justice, and get the seal of approval from their owners first.

Hasn't Turquoiz left SP?

You probs have another way to contact him tho.

Cuz otherwise you'd be having a bad time right about now.

Azure, I've just about finished the model for Honey. If there's anything you'd like changed (Skin color, Hair, Muscles, Etc), speak up now before I put a rig on her. Keep in mind that these weren't taken in the game engine so she may look a little different in there.

Handyman for boss level.

He's bipedal, but his size is malleable. From 9ft to, well, over 20 if he ditches his legs for arms.

He's a slow hitter but the hits are heavy and very, very strong. And because he can summon multiple arms, one would have to dodge around the slow fists to get hits in.

Previews of what he does and art. (Click to Show)

Eyes are nails, teeth are yellow fingers that snap and click. Face is frozen, just the teeth move about. He is incredibly strong, so much so that he doesn't need to punch fast for it to be powerful. He could just slowly press his finger against a concrete wall and sink it in at a leisurely pace. This also means the momentum is realistic. If he punches you at 10mph, you will fly away from the fist at 10mph at max. No sudden energy coming in from nowhere. In a fighting scenario, it'll do damage but not a lot of knockback, which is offset by more than two, or even four fists being onscreen at once. If you are capable of arm growing stuff that is, if not, just go for four arms at all times.

(He's more prominent as a wRHG but he's a bit known in RHG too.)

If you want details, check the wRHG page. I know you said "Don't just send me a link to your RHG page" but if you want detail, wRHG is the way to go: http://forums.stickpage.com/showthread.php?78734-The-Handyman-Left-rampant-for-now-(Lock-me!)

And as a bonus, he's not overly detailed. His body anatomy is unique enough to not be considered a 'stick figure' yet he is simple enough to be far easier than, say, Honey.

(first, just saying, but I would probably pay to see Handy in a game :D)
Soo…I’d like to submit Dr. David Roy MacBeth (wRHG char).

His premise is that he’s a powerful and lithe melee/ranger combination capable of making two duplicates of himself. His central weapon is a highly customized Winchester One-of-a-Thousand Lever Action repeater with a variety of different ammo. He also carries throwing knives and medical equipment/chemicals.

His overall playing style would be to pressure someone as a ranger and then move in close to use knives, poisons, and hand-to-hand to finish them off. One of his signature skills is that he uses his medical knowledge to target nerve ganglions, bone joints, organs, etc. to do maximum damage/debilitation with each hit. His rifle is as close to him as his own body, so he wields it quickly and confidently -- even with one hand. His specials would involve making another version or two of himself that would act like a shield or do some action. Since I’m guessing keeping three versions him animated at once would be a pain, after doing some action his Reflections (what I call the duplicates) could vanish.

***Added: His playstyle is to be have a mix of ridiculously fast light attacks (in a game setting, these could potentially be some of the fastest in the game), with FAR slower heavies. His specials and supers should be weaker than those of other chars, but should be balanced by being characterized by being easy to land and surprisingly fast. In fact, his specials (and even the basic super with Reflections) should be easy enough to use regularly and easily, serving as more keystones to his build than his Heavies and Launchers (which should be on the level of kill-moves). All about totally screwing with the opponent's ability to move and play normally, taking total control of the progression of the game quickly.

Also, there are more elements to him on the char page…so you could use anything you want. With that overall, here’s a spoiler for a more detailed pitch.
Pitch Black (not really) (Click to Show)

His wRHG page is in the link of my Spoiler. My current wRHG is on that page as well…but David is at the top.

I'm not planning on having a boss character atm but I'll consider it. It could either go really well or really bad depending on how much of a bitch the dozens of hands are to animate.

Very nice detailed pitch. As I was reading I had vivid images of how he would look, animate, and play, flashing in my head. That's how it should be.

I should mention that if a wRHG page is detailed enough, in that it contains everything that a normal pitch should, then it's ok to just link the page. Just specify that it has everything when you post the link.

You can just have him with two pairs of arms. His durability, strength, size and slowness make him a unique combatant enough already.
This animation uses an older version of him- hence the white face- but you can get the gist:

I know you have a tech character on board already but I'll pitch mine just in case.

@Richard: Thanks, noted. Like I said, we'll see how it goes after I try

As long as they're at least moderately different, there's no limit on a certain archetype.
