View Profile S: I made those entries because I seriously hate(x10) when people don't really use the true names for some races.
Then learn not to be annoyed by that or prepare to be annoyed a boatload more in your life. The only people who care about this terminology at all are the circlejerkers who think knowing this shit entitles them to be annoyed towards those that don't.
But in all honesty though, nobody knows this stuff except for the people who really look into it and most people simply don't, and there's nothing wrong with calling a half demon a half demon since it conveys the same idea except everyone understands it, as opposed to only 5-15% of your demographic. It's nice that you're willing to share this knowledge with us but if that's your reason then I think your reason sucks.

View Profile S: Chill out Vern, that wasn't really my true reason. It was just to share useful information, just like you said. I just thought that putting that could be the door to a joke, no hard feelings though as I know that I'm a circlejerk.

View Profile To be fair, Cambions are typically specifically referred to as the offspring of a human and an incubus/succubus, but as demons who feed upon sexual desire and fluids, they tend to be naturally incapable of cross-species breeding. This of course depends on which mythological viewpoint you look at it from.
As a mythology buff myself, I take immense interest in non-judeo-christian lore, though this isn't to say I don't study those as well. Cambions are often born by way of surrogate and tend to come out malformed and misshapen (the word cambion is partially derived from the Celtic root kamb, which means crooked). Due to their origins in the Celtic lands, they're actually also more related to faeries over daemons, kind of like changelings and the likes.

S: Well, I used the Zoroastrian form of Cambions to make that entrance, though as you say they come malformed and they're often linked with faeries.
But in the Zoroastrian mythology says that the Cambion can be the child of lustful demons with a human or demonic princes/Lords and their human slaves.

Regardless m8, you have made the best input so far, we can't ignore that. Seriously though, you people can just add both definitions for reference.
I actually thought the above posts were off-topic for a second. Crazy, I know. Clearly I'm delusional.
