TODAY IS THE DAY. We're winding down with 17 entries total, which is amazing! This is going to be an intense competition and I can't wait to watch all of these!

So based on some feedback there's going to be a change of plans. Our judges are finding it difficult to squeeze everything into a single day and the week that I originally assigned to give them time to judge has been cut by the grace period we give animators so I've decided that I'm going to start giving them the weekend after the competition ends to do their judging. Winners will start being announced the Monday after the judging period starts, before night time just in case any of the judges need a tiny bit more time. The competition that follows will still begin on the same day.

That's why I started and worked on my entry for several days before signing up. Wanted to get a good idea of whether I could actually finish it or not.

Hey guys, checking in because I know it's a few days past when we were supposed to announce the winners. I'm currently stuck waiting on Judge 3 to get their scores in, the score card is mostly filled out but there are a few still missing. Sorry it's running on so long, this is obviously not how I usually like to run these. The end of the next competition will be reworked so things like this are less likely to happen, but it will still begin as planned. I will have to announce the changes shortly after it starts so hopefully that doesn't ruin anyone's plans. Thanks for sticking in there!

Additionally, if you're a winner of the beginner's competition please note there was some confusion about the payments last week and they didn't go out as planned. The two delays here are related, but we're working on it!
