Is there any way that anyone is able to do something to prove they are not Aruta?


With everyone saying that they're not it would be perfect for Kuro or a Despair to lie and pretend to be Aruta and lead us the wrong way with false info.

@Skele -- I just noticed the same thing...no one is admitting, which means that we could get a deceptive Kuro instead of the real Aruta. Then again, we could use a graduation album or something on them if they spoke up.

Secondly, we are not considering that whoever has the grad album (Doc or Person) just might be a Traitor. I mean, who is to say they will tell the truth? Granted, we have to trust that with anyone (just like when I say Smile isn't Shiro via my Silent Receiver). Still, if you guys are going to question MY honesty, we have to question everyone's.

Thirdly, I agree with Ai. If we figure out Shiros (which is the easiest thing to do), then we can figure out everyone else by process of elimination.

Fourthly -- If Kuro attacks ANYONE else except Drizzle, we will have confirmation that said victims weren't Kuro...narrowing the search. This means that either Kuro is bound to attack ONLY Drizzle over and over, or will be closing the net on themselves by default.

Unfortunately even if we can have 3 people try to confirm the Aruta in some way to ensure that even if 2 of our confirmers are Traitors that the final person is at least guaranteed to not be then the final confirmer could still be the Ultra High School Class Despair Student and they might still want to go along with the other two traitors confirming. To be honest we would need 4 people to confirm the Aruta to be absolutely sure that the Aruta is legitimate and could be trusted - and I don't think we even have that many items let alone would want to blow them all on one person.

There simply cannot be a central person of trust in this game because we'd have to use virtually everything we had to establish such a person in the first place.

I don't really see the point of extending today as there is really nothing to do as of now. Just a waste of the item as we might need it later for actually finding the kuro later on.

Hmm...well, this kinda helps. But you could still be a traitor. At least this narrows things.

Grad Album on Drizzle, then. And yes, we will make sure you don't die...at least if you prove to be Aruta.

Or that you should not? No one else even claim aruta in this game. And that even the fact that it came straight from your experience that your claim might be a lie and you would end up being a traitor. Wouldn't it be better to check up on you first? Since obviously either you or Smile are part of the Despair.

I disagree with this simply because the Aruta holds more value than literally any other Shiro in the game. It would obviously make more sense to spend more resources on a confirmed target that we know is aruta rather than haphazardly distributing to people who can only speak.

Can a Traitor even be Aruta? Isn't Arutas suppposed to be a fully Shiro character?

I'm a Shiro so that's promising. However if Drizzle is only pretending to be the Aruta he could do just always guess hope. The traitors, ultra high school despair, ane Kuro would play along with it and so only a monmi could reveal the lie. We don't even know if we have one this game.

I agree...I think at this point we need to trust Drizzle. I mean, let's suppose he WAS lying for some reason. First off, if that was the case, someone (the real Aruta) would have called him out on it. Secondly...we could still protect the victims.

Anyhow, I think we've established where we stand in strategy. IMO there isn't a reason to keep discussion going right now, except to finalize who investigates who. And who protects who.

If everyone agrees on drizzle being Aruta then we won't need Person to verify his identity. He can instead use the Grad Album on someone else.

I'll still be protecting him, btw. But Alph, you should use your Staff to protect Drizzle this time around.
