Quote from SmileI don't understand the point of your post, Alphaeus. You drone out about "law of probabilities" and "chance of success" but I don't know how managing to give your item to a Hope is considered a "success." If you were Hope, then there's literally no reason for you to waste your ability and one of your items because you'd already know you're Hope. You could've just saved it up for later when you already have an idea for yourself who the Hope members are. Or if you're really firm about your Law of Probabilities then why didn't you just use it yourself? Giving it to ErrorBlender then pressuring him to use it makes little sense to me. You now only have one item but you're going ">:}", so I'm thinking:
a. You're a Traitor and you gave your shit to Kuro. I mean, that's what Traitors are supposed to do; support Kuro. This is pretty much the most obvious move that a Traitor can do, so it might be that,
b. You're a Ultra High School Class Despair Student. Helping Kuro while trying to appear suspicious is helpful to the Despair Student because first, it lessens the chances of Kuro killing you at night and increases the chances of everyone lynching you at the trial.
Going "teehee maybe I'm Kuro teehee >:}" is pretty much playing against your win condition if you're Hope, but not if you're Despair. I do not understand what you mean by "for diversity's sake".
Yeah I agree with Smile here. There was really no reason to give the doll to Errorblender, you could've just used it yourself.
The thing that I don't understand is; why did you give it in the first place? It's an item that benefits the people you choose, not the people you give it to. So unless this was just a poor plan, there's literally no benefit from wasting your power this early on in the game.
I can understand the logic of using the ability it early on in game since you're more likely to give it to Hope, but why the doll?
Quote from DrizzleObviously he's Kuro, can we lynch him now? Blah blah-ing about excuses about using an item on someone random before the game even started just shows what a "non" Hope member would do.
No. Lynching without proper discussion and defense is an easy way to get people killed with no reason.

Sounds like you have something you want to say.

I noticed like someone (not bothering to check now) said earlier that we have people here with limited abilities.
Items can counteract that, and by using my ability to give the doll, and if EB uses the doll, I could have introduced four more items -- and therefore four more skills -- to the Hope side.
If I waited till later, I would have -- by default -- done equal help to despair as well, making my attempt counter-productive.
Also, that was my char ability -- I still have both of my items.

I still don't understand how this changes if you used the item yourself instead of giving it to someone else?

What?

What?
Hew made a mistake, then. I have both my items...that was my char ability I used.
The ability was that I HAD to give to someone else...not myself. Otherwise, yeah, I would have taken it.

I suppose having to give it to someone else makes more sense.

Yeah. SO, I had to choose someone, and do so before I was more likely to get a Despair than a Hope.
Hence the huge post explaining that.

Are you sure about that? If it was like that I'm pretty sure Hew would've specified... like the other abilities. Also why did you choose Error in the first place? Seems like a rather odd choice.
Also I'm pretty sure Smile was pointing your contradiction of saying you have both items; when you have been listed to only have 1.

Ability: Autographed Merchandise - You can give one player an Item of your choice. (Daytime)
It says you CAN, not SHOULD.
You used your ability to give an item, and then Hewitt says you now only have one item. That means, unless Hewitt comes here to say other wise, your ability is to be able to give someone else an item that you own. You're actually contradicting Hewitt, the game master, right now.

Wow, you are overanalyzing everything.
This is your ability: You can give one player an Item of your choice.
"Your choice" means, it has to be one of YOUR items. DUH.
I'm taking back your ability use, clearly you thought it was something else. Can't give what you can't have.
Also sorry for not noticing it sooner, guys. Edited my post.

Ugh, I haven't ran a game like this in a long time. Forgot to make a rule that you should be posting contentfully. I thought that was implied anyway. You sign up and then do this...I don't know why you even lol

Well congrats to Alphaeus for making several pages of suspicions without even performing a legal move.

If you say so... Oh, is there any possibility to skip the day since I am of no use unless someone dies
