Just like the Handyman you know and love. A body comprised of arms, skin black and leathery, with a faux ribcage of eight large curled-up fingers. Fists a foot thick, smaller hands for feet, no wrists. The head is spherical a thousand-finger fist, the eyes fake and made from circular ingrown nails, with cuticles set at the bottom to give a more cheerful look. The ‘mouth’ is wide open, unmoving, though there are lines of pale yellow fingers inside that click and snap for echolocation.

Handy is a lumbering idiot that is so dumb it doesn’t even understand the concept of time, Max is a voice in its head. A sane, intelligent (well, comparatively) voice that tries to guide the creature. Max is a citizen, not a hero type of any nature save for his dreams. Comfortable in an average life, he is scared about his new position and tries his hardest to guide Handy.

Handy retains his abilities over summoning arms from its pocket dimension, general unkillability, immense strength. For the purposes of this event, there is no arm forest.

It is immune to conventional pain, save for its ‘teeth’ and ‘tongue’. It can attach its tongue to the neck of a victim to force a night terror upon them, where they will need to win over their biggest fear in order to boot Handy out. Or else, perma coma.

In very dark areas, it can make others hallucinate in a way where it blends in and camouflages.

He also gains the ability to roll a mental 1d20- able to be done by both it and Max- to see how successful a following action is. 2 is an utter failure, 19 is an utter success. A 1 is a critical fail, bending reality to allow an enhanced failure, and vice versa with a 20.

Handy is slow and lumbering, clumsy and stupid. It is an unstoppable force, just a very steady one. It tends to walk on its ‘legs’ which can break under great stress due to their thinness.

Despite being a sneaky creature, Handy will always click to see, and even though it may slow it down for hiding purposes, it is always a tell if it is there or not.

Though it is immune to conventional pain, it is hurt by light. Candlelight is pins and needles, daylight is drowning in battery acid. Strong light, like daylight, can immobilise Handy and prevent it from regenerating.

Max’s mind is there inside its head, but is now without body and sight, only capable of hearing, and incapable of speaking aside from yelling at the dumb beast. The creature won’t exactly follow his commands, or even understand him most the time.

Dice rolling is a perfect 50/50 win/lose ability, so it’s innately balanced.

Handy haunted Max and managed to snag his mind (Probably heard that Max puts his milk in the bowl before the cereal, only psychopaths do that) but, since Max's ability is fourth wall and unable to be affected by anything in-universe, it persisted and latched onto Handy... along with Max's mind. Now, the scared man's consciousness is in the head of this dumb, blind beast, trying to guide it.
