GHIII was a lot better than Rock Band, so I'm gonna side with World Tour for now.

GHIII - Master Tracks, good song list, more durable guitars
RB - Covers, pretty bad song list, shitty guitars

Better songs is a matter of opinion. Very few songs on Rock Band did I dislike, while I only liked a few of the songs in Guitar Hero III.

Guitars, again, personal opinion. I've played with Guitar Hero guitars, and I just like the Rock Band ones better. Yes, they weren't of great durability, but at least Harmonix paid attention to the consumer and extended the warranty.

Of course you wouldn't, that'd hurt your argument for GHIII.

That still leaves:

I call bullshit. Not everyone wants to spend hours learning to play an overcharted TtFaF or Jordan. No offense of course, it's just that instead of playing the song it says you're playing, you're playing that song with added stuff everywhere.

Did you read my post? I said that the only reason people bought RB in the very first case was because of the ability to play drums. When people heard that in RB you could play drums everyone wanted to go out and buy it. I also stated that RB has some really good quailities to it.

Yeah, I get what you were saying now, about original attraction being the added drums, but it's also the fact that it's a larger party musical game, having 4 players playing at once.

But people also don't know yet how well the drums will work in GHWT. They may be better, same, or worse. Who knows? At least we know the only real drum problem in Rock Band was the equipment itself, which has been improved. I also really like the current songs in Rock Band, as well as songs to come.

Again, again, again, it's all personal opinion. I think RB2 will be better. Others think GHWT will be better. Nobody will know until both are released, at least from an unbiased opinion.

And? I watched the video of making songs, and I actually didn't like it that much. System's not bad, it just doesn't seem fun.

Rock Band 2: Huge set list, all master recordings.

Guitar Hero 4: Making your own songs.

I choose Rock Band 2.

Both have good new features.

I'll go with Guitar Hero World Tour because I don't really like the artwork in RockBand.

But we'll have to wait 'till it's released.

Yeah, not doubting that GHWT will do good, but in my opinion, I think Rock Band 2 will be better.

What artwork, like the background artwork on screens, or the way the characters are?

You can make your own characters in Rock Band 2, and you can customize the look of your guitar and drums as well.

Also, way to bump a nearly 4 month old thread.
