Rock Band can make characters. GHWT can make characters, guitars, singles, SONGS, CHARTS AND ALBUMS. IT ****ING MASSIVE DETAIL.
GHWT also has a touchpad as well as buttons which is awesome.

That basically beats it. Also, GHWT has better songs.

Touchpad was useless, IMO. GHWT does NOT have better songs. And the game itself is much easier to play than Rock Band, which already knocked stuff down a bit.

1. I can play nearly every song on Rock Band 2 on expert. On every instrument.

2. It was the second song I learned on real guitar. I learned it before I heard the song and loved it. Then I heard the song and didn't like it near as much.

3. GHWT also has more faulty equipment than the original Rock Band, along with easier charts. The time in which you can hit a note and it count in GHWT is HUGE compared to RB2.

A friend of mine who was a pretty hardcore Guitar Hero fan told me GHWT was gonna be better than RB2. After he got it, he told me the equipment isn't that great and that the songs in the game are as challenging as songs on Hard in Guitar Hero 3.

That's my defense. Honestly, it's a personal preference which you'll like better, I'll even admit I'm a little biased towards Rock Band, if it wasn't obvious. I'm just pointing out that on most fronts to a majority of people, Rock Band 2 will probably be the better game.

1. I'm a very musically enclined person. I play guitar, bass, and drums in real life, as well as the French horn. To play French horn, you have to have a good ear because the pitches are so close to eachother. That good ear makes matching pitches on vocals easy.

2. Rock Band 2 is the only game I own right now, so it's the only game I play in my free time.

Also, it appears I'm gonna have to get Guitar Hero World Tour just for the song creation. Tried it at a friend's house and I'm good at it, so why not.

Popsicle sticks and tape. Preferrably electrical tape. Put two on each side, stacked, on the bottom. Tape them on, by taping around the whole pedal. Then put popsicle sticks across the top, spread out, and tape them, around the whole pedal. Should hold well. That's what I did to my original Rock Band pedal and it's still holding up. And that's after I've snapped it 3 times on the pedal and once on the the very bottom bass to the whole pedal itself.

some people would rather prefer rb's 4 pads and 1 kick pedal rather than ghwt's 3 pads, 2 cymbals, and 1 kick pedal
