If you're still up at 2 AM (in your time zone) have a look out east/northeast. The Perseid meteor shower is supposed to max out tonight, especially for West Coast people. There are supposed to be 1-2 meteors visible every minute, a bit less for light polluted areas.

I'm planning on watching it.
