Hey all, longtime lurker here to present an open challenge. Though I guess challenge isn't exactly the right word. I've been pretty absent from animating for a fairly long amount of time now, but I decided to come back. I have my heart set on animating a tryout for this clan, so I'm busying myself with practice and demos at the moment. I'd love to have a quick, clean RHG Battle with someone if only to shake off some of that rust. Plus, with how inactive the Battle Zone seems to have been recently, I think a short (<1 minute) tune-up battle would benefit everyone! So, what do you guys say? Is anyone up for an official/unofficial unrust bout?

Oh, yeah, have my character and latest practice anim for reference:

The Poses for his punches and kicks could be exaggerated a bit more to make them more believable. And that flip could have used more buildup. The stumble wasn't really a stumble, he just kinda landed normally and fell over.

And if this were timed differently, I would take you on for a unofficial battle, but I have a prior engagement. If you're still free when that ends, I'll have an unofficial battle with ya.

Not sure if you were being intentional or not, but I like the sliding of his feet on the ground.

Man, I thought you've already know it....you see, even tho Pivot is easy to use, you can't do in-between, and you gotta continue with the frameplus, it's hard to move everything in 1 frame.Not like flash, you can draw the legs first, then the other, it even got layers...hope you know what I mean, no offence btw...

That was made in Pivot so, it actually can be done.
(btw don't be scared to voice your opinion man, lol)


And danickname, I think I'll take up the challenge. As long as it's below 1 minute, for my current circumstances it seems doable.

While I have never used pivot before, I have a general understanding of how it works. I thought you moved the bevels every frame? I don't see how pivot can do in-betweens, nor do I see how that invalidates what I said before.

Hmm, I've read all the posts over again, and perhaps, I think you're right, he could've done it better....
