Faye was just about to leave Illaya's room, when she heard Lavernius approaching. The girl froze and haven't answered, instead quietly scurrying away to hide behind the open bathroom's doors. Questions might happen if he found her in there so early in the morning, especially since she didn't really look day-ready with her evening outfit and mess of a hair. Version that she came here in the morning was a no-go... Things were already awkward as they were between the three, and the girl just really didn't feel like explaining herself, or worse have him make any assumptions.
In silence, she hoped for Lavernius to go away, before he notices her so that she could give the slip to her room after. She would join him at breakfast once she was ready.

Lavernius stood by the entrance and waited for an answer. He expected a multitude of things happening, but no answer wasn't one of them. Perhaps they had both left already? But left the door open? That was quite irresponsible of both of them. But of course there he was assuming that Faye was with Thalia to begin with, the thaa'nas could have simply gone to the temple to report the incident, but that didn't explain where Thalia was. His thoughts went to the bathroom and it gave him a pause. He didn't want to replay an incident like last time, perhaps if he went in and out quickly he'd be able to leave before she noticed. But what if the soup got cold while she was in the bathroom... she shouldn't be in the bathroom that long he reasoned and as he stepped in he didn't hear the sound of the shower running so he continued to talk as he went to place the soup down. "I brought some soup for you, and I had assumed Faye was with you but it seems like I was wrong." He put the platter down and picked up his own bowl of soup, utensil, and bread roll. "I know you probably don't want to eat after getting sick yesterday but you need something in your stomach, the soup should go down easily and there's some bread if you are still a bit hungry." He carefully walked out, finishing with. "I'll be in the festival plaza if you feel well. Hope you get better and send Faye my regards if you see her. I hope she's not neglecting herself."

Faye waited less than a minute after she lost sound of Lavernius before she peeked out her cover. The girl obviously felt kind of bad for hiding like this. The man was so sweet and meant well after all. She just didn't want another weird morning...well, weirder than it already was. Faye stepped away from the door, and approached the table on which the man left the soup. "Mmm..." The girl leaned forward and smelled the steaming liquid, then put a spoon in one of the bowls and picked it up along with a piece of bread. It would be a shame if food went to waste.
She was about to leave, but turned around and snatched the key to Illaya's room on her way out. Cautiously stepping out on the corridor, looking to the sides Faye held a piece of bread in her mouth as she turned the lock and then tiptoed to her room's door. Surprisingly, they were unlocked when she turned the knob. The girl frowned and slowly opened them, relieved with what she saw inside. Inn's staff maids. "Mhm, gwoof mowning..." Faye removed the bread from her mouth, and walked inside. "Good morning...Have you been taking care of him the whole night? Im so sorry, you shouldn't have. I didn't want to burden you with this, you guys work hard enough already...How is he doing?" The girl placed her food on the table and began to bustle around her room, in search for various items and asking questions. Passing by the bed, she stopped to get a good look on Ravhin.

Faye Petralis, the Dancing Horseman | 2nd Floor
"Good morning, miss Faye," Milanee and Esther said in unison. Esther was busy redressing the bandages on Ravhin while Milanee busied herself with collecting the dirtied ones.
"He has so far been alright, the bleeding has stopped," Esther noted, finishing her task. "I don't know how much our first aid will do him however but your healing would suffice."
"We will be leaving now, Miss Faye, please don't hesitate to ask for anything." Esther and Milanee curtsied when they were done and left the room. Faye nodded and she moved towards the Ravhin's side. The Thaa'nas looked down on her patient and found the clean bandages a bit soothing. At the very least, she had saved a life that night. There were some bandages over at Ravhin's head, perhaps he hit it when he collapsed on the floor that night. Surprisingly, the girls were thorough in their first aid. Faye watched on as Ravhin stayed asleep, she was unsure when the man would wake. She needed answers and he was the only one who could give them to her.
Lavernius Mylarc, the Plaza of the Monolith
The plaza was another grand explosion of activity, people were bustling around, marveling at the wonderfully crafted glass lanterns and spires that rose from the sides of the monolith. Such a busy week this was, he thought to himself. He could spot some of Lorcas' businessmen, decked in jewelry and fine made clothing, making their appearances for the festival. Up on the plaza itself, a stage was erected with a banner brought up that said: "Dueling Tournament".
The artist noticed people had already been lining up to register.
Marianna Laranis, the Dancing Horseman | 2nd Floor
The crime boss of the Twin Fangs woke. It was the day her freedom from the house arrest began. No sound from the outside of her door signaled that, probably, the legionnaires had already left their posts. She found that odd if they did however.

Thalia had already bee in line to register for several minutes after giving up hope that anyone in this damned city knew anything useful. Gods above she could use the tournament as a means to blow off some steam. There were only a few days left of the festival and she would be ditching Salvation Point for a much nicer, more permanent place to live. She might as well try to make the most of the festival while she was here.
Looking through the crowd was rather boring. This place didn't have any interesting characters, but at least the scenery of the festival was nice. The Lorcasians never failed to impress with these sorts of things. A rainbow haired man with a familiar face was making his way though the crowd from the Dancing Horseman. Thalia would have known who it was just by the hair alone. Who wouldn't? When he looked over in her direction she smirked and waved him over to where she was waiting in line, nearing the front.

Lavernius blinked when he saw who was waving at him. How did she get there so fast? He looked back at the Dancing Horseman and wondered if she could have actually left the door open like that. Or perhaps Faye was in her room, simply hiding from him. A strange idea... but for some reason he didn't banish it as impossible. Regardless the man walked up to Thalia, making sure to clearly show he had no intention to join the tournament, he wasn't much of a fighter, nor when he fought did he use his fists or weapons. "Hello Illaya, did you drink all the soup and eat the bread? I was worried your stomach wouldn't react to the food well but you seem to be looking much better." It was interesting to see that she was planning on joining the tournament but as she had made blatantly clear, she was full of a lot of surprises and secrets about herself. "I was planning on making my way to the bazaar but if you're taking part in this, I think I'll stay to cheer you on." He smiled.

Thalia shook her head at Lavernius, "I've been out here for a little bit, perhaps Faye would find some use of it though. I appreciate the gesture, Mr. Lavernius." A stroke a red tinted her cheeks as she fumbled over the man's name, struggling to stick with his preferences. "I'm not sure how soon they will let me in, if at all. Perhaps if there is a wait I could accompany you to the bazaar?" Again, another hint of red. It was unlike her to show so much emotion or care. Faye would never know that she had helped give Thalia the best sleep she has had in years. The assassin felt less tense, a blade more honed for the slaughter, eager to prove it's worth in whatever fashion it could.

"You haven't eaten anything? That's not healthy Illaya." He contemplated going to get her something to eat. The artist smiled at her offer. "That would be lovely Illaya, I would be flattered if you were to join me." He watched as her face reddened and a tinge of worry floated back to the surface. "Are you alright Illaya? Your face is quite red." Lavernius placed his palm on her head, his hand was cool and soft to the touch.

"Thank you, again...hmm." Faye threw over her shoulder as the girls left, and looked back at Ravhin with her head tilted. The new bandages around his head worried her a little. Has she really not notice anything last night?
The girl stared for a moment longer, before she gently tapped his shoulder in a 'cheering' gesture and got up. After collecting some clothes, she went into the bathroom for a quick shower and to refresh herself. As she stripped down to her underwear however, a mirror has caught her attention. Stepping back to see as much of herself as she could, Faye eyed the reflection... perhaps comparing it to an image presented to her few minutes ago. Twirling and turning around for few seconds, the girl eventually dropped her hands with a vainly 'hmph', undressed herself completely and hid behind a shower curtain soon after.
Done with her bath, Faye dried herself with a towel and put on an outfit for the day; a simple white shirt and thigh highs of same color, black shorts and slightly shortish, black jacket with rolled sleeves. Without touching her bangs, she also neatly combed her hair into a ponytail, and tied it with a black ribbon - Normally she would use her bandana, but that would defeat the purpose. It didn't quite fit the clothes, and after last night, it wouldn't be so wise to show off her Thaa'nas status like that. To look different was the point, and looking into a mirror, it seemed like Faye has achieved her goal. The whole outfit and hairstyle has given her more of a feisty look than usual, but still remained very much in her comfort zone.
Somewhat satisfied and smiling, the girl left the bathroom and got busy with her - now warm at best - soup. She sat on a chair by Ravhin, thoughtfully watching him sleep as she ate. At one point she placed the bowl on her lap, and while still slowly eating with one hand, Faye placed the other on man's chest again. Channeling Maat and Daana again, her fingers began to carefully move across his body. It wasn't a healing spell however, or not quite at least. The girl searched for any damages she still might have not been aware of, that would manifest themselves as a disturbance in the flow of magic. She has done that yesterday hastily, but she wanted to make sure again. Anything to help the man recover faster. Besides who knows, with such wounds complications are bound to happen, even after just one night. Its better to find and treat them early, rather than to learn about them too late.

Thalia eased into Lavernius' palm and nuzzled it with a feline gentleness. "I was planning on getting food out in the Market until I saw the line for this. It shouldn't be too long now." With each passing moment Thalia got closer and closer to the front of the line. A voice cooed inside of her mind, igniting a chain reaction of thoughts and speculation whether she wanted to entertain or believe them herself. She grabbed onto Lavernius' hand with both of her own and pulled him along with her coyly, "You mother hen, I'm sure you're well aware of how women get around someone that they admire." She didn't meet his gaze as she spoke her words, but rather focused on a very interesting spot on the ground as she grinned sheepishly.

Lavernius was glad she wasn't looking at him as he covered his lower face with his hand to hide his blush. "I-Illaya..." He didn't know what to say. He didn't know what was happening. Something that he had approached so innocently was evolving into something more, something he never expected to grow. It was spiraling out of control and what terrified him was that he didn't see a way to stop it. He found himself on center stage alongside Illaya. Something was being built up to happen and what turned into a hot ball of guilt in his stomach was that if he let this duet continue then after the curtain falls on their time together, he wouldn't regret it, not one bit. He couldn't let this happen... he had to drop out but when he opened his mouth, nothing came out. Lavernius closed his mouth and his eyes in shame as he simply followed her, his silence became a song of its own as he failed to break the harmony, rather holding tightly onto Illaya's hand as she walked to register.

Lavernius Mylarc & Thalia Valgeiros, the Plaza of the Monolith
Lavernius looked elsewhere, trying to busy his mind. All he saw was the people of Salvation Point, no, the people of Aladea, flocking from every corner to celebrate the coming holiday. It was a spectacular time to be here, to be an artist and capture the moment. Looking to some corner, he spotted a couple of legionnaires carrying a man by the arms, arresting the man was more of a proper term. Before he could get a better look at the event, it was time for Thalia's turn in the line, the registry was manned by two people that sat by a desk, they looked gleeful at the amount of contestants that had registered and smiled.
"Greetings Madam and Sir," the man said. "To register, you just need to list down your names here on the paper." The man handed over a piece of paper with dozens of names already signed in. Thalia could count twenty just by looking at it.
Faye Petralis, the Dancing Horseman | Second Floor
The Thaa'nas worked her magic on Ravhin, trying to be thorough this time around. If the server maids missed anything, she'd know.
As her healing weave settled on the man's body she felt a pulse, Ravhin's pulse to be exact. She could feel it weakly which only worried her more. Over the course of a few minutes, her spell managed to find five odd wounds. She sensed puncture wounds, deep ones found in places like the man's neck and wrists; thinner and smaller than daggers, akin to needles. And to pierce and run that deep, they'd need to have been at a high velocity. Faye noticed that these were deliberate and precise, not just in the heat of the moment. She didn't see anything on Ravhin when she got there nor does she feel anything embedded on him. Something was missing to the puzzle, could it have been something else?
A knock on the door signaled someone's arrival and the voice of Milanee came from the other side of the door. "Do you need anything, Miss Faye?"

Lavernius' hand was warm, and the woman smiled at what her actions must have been doing to his mind, to his resolve. It was fun to get him so worked up, but it also made her wonder just how strongly Lavernius truly cared for his woman. She considered that perhaps after how long it had been, after how crushed he had been, his spirit was weak and flooded with doubt.
Thalia took the paper from the man, nudging her head towards Lavernius, "he won't be fighting, but I will." She gave them a saccharine smile before writing her name down on the paper. Gwennifer Mylarc. She handed the paper back to the man and strode away with Lavernius' hand still in hers. Once they were clearly out of line she released the painter and turned to him, "I imagine I've got a little bit of time before things here kick off, is there anywhere in particular that you want to go? Anything catch your eye?" Aside from her, of course.

"Yes I'm just a spectator. I'm not a fighter." Lavernius smiled sheepishly. As they walked away and she asked what to do with the time remaining and asked if anything had caught his eye, besides you? He wondered but quickly abandoned that route of flirting, he had to distance himself. "You said you haven't eaten yet, so we should head over to the market and get you something to eat, perhaps we'll see some things there that'll peak our interest." The artist reasoned.

As Faye's fingers moved across Ravhin's body, she slowly ate slower and slower, eventually forgetting about the spoon in her hand and soup on her lap. "What...Strange..." The girl frowned and put the food on the side, moving her chair closer to the bed. She began to examine the small wounds both by observing with bare eyes, as well as with her spell, now focused on these. She tried to figure, what could be the target of such precise 'injury'. Nerves? Veins? Why were they there?
When Milanee knocked on the door, Faye answered without turning around. "Come in, please...Have any of you injected him with anything throughout the night?" The Thaa'nas asked curiously once the woman entered the room, pointing at Ravhin's neck and wrists. If that wasn't the case, there were still few possible scenarios she could've think of on the spot. One of them dropped out immediately. Ravhin couldn't be a drug addict. She'd feel the foul substance inside his body, but there was none. No trace of anything that shouldn't be there. Maybe these appeared either sometime before...or after the attack. But how? And why? This case was weird enough for her to believe that. After all, she couldn't imagine him doing that to himself 'just because', nor was that any Thaa'nas procedure Faye knew about. To achieve such precision another person would be needed...probably even more than just a person. More and more questions appeared but still not a single answer...Frustrating. Faye almost wanted to shake the man, to wake him up and get her answers.
