Abbas noticed Sarah's frown and his smile slightly wavered, but remained. He thought about what she could be thinking, and came upon the idea that she may not view him as another everyday person.
Rather, a gladiator in the RHG, a superhuman, high and mighty in their ways and not suited to appearing in public. The Immortal tilted his head, "Just so you know Sarah, you invited me to this, I didn't have to come, but I did, because, after realizing I had at least one fan who wanted to meet me, I chose to come and fulfill that fans' wishes. You're that fan Sarah, and I'm your date tonight, so treat me like one, treat me like a friend." He stated, smiling wider than before.
Sarah actually laughed at this. She had been thinking been thinking that but that wasn't the biggest concern on her mind. Not at the moment at least. "Thank's Abbas. I really appreciate it, but that wasn't what I was worried about. I mean yes you guys are gladiators and many of you are para-humans. Special individuals who really have no reason other than kindness to be interested in ordinary people like me. And while I was afraid of that when I came through here, i'm worried now that I don't have much dancing experience. It doesn't matter what dance you choose, I doubt i'll be able to make you happy."
That was the truth and the true meaning of what she said earlier. To e honest though a little of her first fear spilled over to her last concern in the last sentence and she felt a little nervous about what she had just said. Make him happy? "I'm sorry. I meant to say I doubt i'll do very well. I still want to try though."
